For my mother and I this was supposed to be our dream apartment. We love the area and from the tours we thought this was the perfect place. Wrong. We have been here for almost a month. We spotted a mouse in the laundry room. Thought it was a one off and figured we would be okay. The pest control people came on 12/17 and told us about holes between the laundry machines. Several. Thats how the mice get in. Come 12/19 we find TWO DEAD MICE!! One was very bloody. It was disgusting. Upon going to the rental office the Agent says "Maintenance is off today. It sounds bad, but Mice arent an emergency." TO WHOOO? Thats disgusting! Unsanitary! We left a good place wanting more space and amenities, almost DOUBLE the rent just to live with rats. Very disappointing. Allegedly maintenance is supposed to come Monday the 12/22 to resolve the issue but i doubt it. Also we originally wanted to move in December 1st but were told that their was a special for $1000 off January 1st if we moved in 11/20 so we did. Found out that was a lie. This is only our first month. We're banned from the rental office, but I doubt they'll remove the monthly $30 fee to use the office/lounge. Moving is already stressful and financially draining and now we have all this. Good luck to future and current renters. Save the money and find a better place thats honest and clean. Ill update come Monday if Maintenance actually shows up. Im already expecting some generic AI response in my comments from them so don't bother.
Update: It’s Tuesday, didn’t show up yesterday like I figured.

This is the worst management I have ever witnessed. I have lived in this complex for a long time, since it was called Spring Creek. After it changed to The Berryessa, the management changed and they simply mess up the contracts and try to force me to pay for things I didn't do. I gave up living in the apartments because of the new management and I had problems even when I decided not to renew the contract. They requested a notice of departure, which I provided within the correct timeframe. After that, they said they wanted the notice in a different way and that I would have to pay for not having delivered the notice in the way they demanded, but none of these requirements were in my contract. I had to contact the general manager several times. After I moved out, they didn't send me the bills. After almost two months without returning my deposit, I requested it several times and, finally, they sent a bill that retains my entire deposit and still want more money. I left the apartment in good condition, with only two curtains, and I offered to pay for them, but they are charging me for things they know I didn't damage, like the carpet, and sent me pictures of a carpet that shows no damage, and of the floor, where there is damage caused by them during pest control. They are charging me for these things, and I don't even owe them anything. I have always been an excellent tenant, paying on time and with few complaints. However, I preferred to move out because of the terrible management.
