Same as the guy said 4 months ago, I had moved out back in August, I just now received a collection notice of 1800$ for carpet replacement?? 1800$?????? They stated they had replaced the carpet before I moved in which is crazy because I remember moving in and wasn’t new. I had pictures of the mold on my carpet, told the handyman working there multiple times and was told well you’re moving out so we’ll have to replace it anyways. Brandi now says she doesn’t have me in her system and can’t help, I never got anything in the mail about this or call or email. This is awful, never got anything. Shame on you guys to have the tenants pay for your service of maintenance. But come on, she said it was partial damages that make up 1800$? lol call me if you need some guys to rip up the carpet and put new carpet down not just a repair lol

The office manager was great as well as the maintenance staff. However the hidden fees especially after moving out are blown out of proportion. Rent there at your own risk.

Do not live here. Brandie the complex manager is wonderful but outside from her, there is not much good I can say about Taylor Pointe.
To start, which is my main reason of writing this post, Taylor Pointe will try to squeeze every last dollar out of you even after you move out. I left my complex in great condition as I was only ivj g there for one leasing term. To my surprise, I received a bill of $900 because “need” to replace damaged carpet. When. I moved in, they did not replace the carpet from the last tenant. However when I moved out they “needed” to. The reasoning was because the carpet had “damage”. It seems as if the complex saw I had a dog and already made their minds up that they needed to replace it without actually looking at the unit. The pictures they sent me of the “proof” they had of the carpet damage shows nothing wrong. Just one picture right by the front door. Strange…. (If you want to see, please reply to this and I will send you the picture they sent me to show you how crazy they are). When I tried to submit a case for them to reevaluate, they said they need the $900 because of the damages. Yeah right. I strongly advise NOT living here because they will hit you with surprise bills.
If you come on a visit, make sure you actually view the apartment you are applying for. I was looking for a top floor unit and was told the unit I was applying floor was a top floor unit but I was unable to see it on my visit because they were doing “maintenance” to the unit. Come move in day, to my surprise the unit was on the second floor. Seems as if they tell you what you want to hear so they are able to sell the unit.
If you need any maintenance, be ready to do it yourself. Countless times I put in maintenance requests, however they were not resolved and I had to complete them myself. For example, I had a family of birds making a nest in my dryer vent. I was living on the second floor and when I submitted the request for help, I virtually got no help and was told he did not have a matter because he was not allowed to have one. What? I had to source out a latter tall enough to reach my vent, and spent hours trying to clean out my dryer vent to remove the nest.
In regards to the pool, if you are in a unit close to it, say goodbye to your peace because parents have no control over the children where the scream and yell hours on end. Glad they are having fun, however, there is a time and a place to be or not to be yelling at the top of your lungs.
You may want to stay out of the grass because dog owners don it pick up their dogs business. If you NEED to walk in the grass make sure you don’t wear your best shoes.
No matter the price, no matter how much they try to manipulate you to tell you it’s a great community, I strongly advise living elsewhere.

We moved to Taylor Pointe as transitional housing until our new home is ready. Andi, the property manager has been fantastic and George in maintenance has been great. The lease and move in process was seamless. Any maintenance issues we had were addressed in less than 24 hours. Highly Recommend!

Stayed here two years never had a issue until it was almost time to move out. Had some bad neighbors move in,Heather tried to handle to the best of here ability. Maintenance was always right on only reason I moved was because I brought a house but if you decide to stay here you won’t be disappointed....
