Do Not Recommend. Management is Unresponsive and Negligent. I really wanted to give this place a chance, but the recent shift in management has made it impossible to live here comfortably. Our experience has been a series of broken promises and unaddressed maintenance emergencies. Major Issues: Move-In Condition: We moved into a unit that was filthy and full of issues. We were promised everything would be fixed within a week; it took over six months to see any real progress. The Dishwasher Emergency: Our dishwasher has been leaking for months and has now completely failed. It fills with dirty pipe water and floods our floorboards even when not in use. Despite two weeks of emergency requests and daily phone calls, no one has shown up or even called us back. We are currently spending hours mopping up moldy water just so we can use our kitchen sink. Garage & Privacy: Management accessed our private garage stall without notice or explanation. In the process, they broke the garage door, and it remains unusable weeks later. When I called to ask about it, the office staff was dismissive, even implying I was crazy before finally admitting it was likely a "garage audit." The Bottom Line: Whatever optimism we had when the previous management took over has vanished. The new team is disorganized, dismissive, and seemingly unbothered by standing water and mold in their units. If you value your privacy and expect basic maintenance to be handled, look elsewhere.

Terrible. Maintenance request was not completed, no change, no difference. Still there is not ample safe parking for the resident's. Plow trucks not onsite. Resolve would’ve been to move piles of snow to begining & end of parking row taking up 2 spaces only making it easier for others to park. Utilizing the unoccupied carports for snow piles would've eliminated the inconvenience.

Please heed my warning. Do not live here. Generally the staff sorta does their job they are just rude and aggressive for literally no reason. I am not joking when I and many others say that they will gaslight you, come at you with the worst attitude known to man (i've never experienced customer service in my 30 years of life even close to this). Soon as you sign the lease they'll turn off the customer service (in my experience). This is right next to grandview and this is a nice area for the most part. Now onto the apartment itself. Rent is too high to justify this amount, even for for this area. Maintenance is generally slow and doesn't perform long term fixes(This is for maintenance from 2024-mid 2025, maybe it's changed).Snow plowing this year was atrocious for the amount of fees you pay to assure proper landscaping is taken care of. Here's a small story regarding the office staff: Even if your dog dies they will make sure u pay that 50 a month for the dog fee as youre not allowed out of it. (So i just had a conversation today with the property manager about the policy of removing dog fees after your dog died. The assistant property manager (Kayla) said that they would if I provided proof. The problem arrises when I mentioned this to Neisha a couple weeks ago (she said she talked to the property manager, and he/she said no they can't do that). The property manager said that she remembered having this conversation and said that I only mentioned my dog not being there anymore, not that she died. So i have no clue why they are lying about that, because I definitely mentioned my dog was dead. If you read other reviews youll notice the customer service/leasing/management gaslighting you for no reason. I have no clue how these people ever got into customer facing roles I tell you. I dont know if they are just dumb, bipolar, bitter, schizophrenic, I have no clue, but they confuse the hell out of me with their lying and manipulating for LITERALLY no reason other than to not be wrong or something. I only moved here because theyre one of the few apartments that allows pitbulls and one of the few that had dozens of apartments available to move into at a day notice. They were painting in my apartment on move in day, as well as fixing flooring. The shower didnt work for the first week despite my maintenance requests, and I moved in with no shower head. The entire apartment was dirty, floors were disgusting. I spent around 3-5 hours cleaning after already spending 8-10hours doing a move in day. Funny thing is I found out the shower wasn't working after all the cleaning...lol Yeah I let the office staff know of my move in experience and they left me on read and ignored my compliant. Once they get you to sign that lease, youre screwed. Everyone moves out after their lease is up, however all neighbors and residents here have been amazing. But I would never reccomend Runaway Bay for anything other than an absolute last resort. Look at the reviews, there's a reason it's in the 2's. My experience moving out has been miserable, I've never seen lying, and gaslighting like this ever before. Hopefully you don't either. Pick somewhere else.

This place is terrible, gates are not fixed, doors are not fixed, they do not plow in the winter, and tow you regardless of them not clearing parking spots of snow. 0/10 would not recommend their customer service, they won’t help you.

Don’t live here! I recently moved out of Runaway Bay. I had to continually follow up with staff regarding if I had a balance to pay after moving out. On 1/9 I dropped off my final balance amount. Today I received notification from a debt collector telling me that Runaway Bay sent this same debt to collections after I already paid it!!! A pain and hassle. Sadly, the old manager, Mickie, was the best thing about this place. Absolutely horrible experience. Would not recommend. Editing 210/2026: I have been emailing Runaway Bay to get this resolved. Today, after I emailed once again to follow up, I was informed I now owe another $10.98 for my final water bill and that the original final bill amount I was given was wrong. Worst move out experience I have ever had. Save yourself the hassle. If I could give them -5 stars, I would.
