1 star is generous. This has been by far the worst rental experience we’ve ever had. These people are the lowest of the low. The “customer service” is a joke. Rude, non-caring, non-helpful. The website is ridiculously glitchy at the tenant’s expense. I incurred several late fees because my account just magically stopped being enrolled in auto pay and then they wouldn’t refund the late fees even when I had screen shots that my account was enrolled in auto pay.
Getting any maintenance issues resolved is an absolute joke and waste of time. Same with any customer service issue.
When we tried to give our notice to vacate their website wouldn’t allow us to and I tried multiple attempts to get it resolved — only resulting in us having to pay more money for a house we’re no longer living in. Now they’re trying to tack on one last late fee because they didn’t have the correct pro-rated last month’s rent in my account, and I didn’t want to pay the entire balance given their shady history, in fear it wouldn’t get refunded. It’s just all insane.
To cap it all off — I saw that they have raised the rent by almost $1,500 on the house we rented barely a year ago. It’s highway robbery and I ASSURE you, if you are looking at this property, it is not in the SLIGHTEST worth this amount per month. It is so shoddily put together and the fireplace isn’t functioning (another thing they lied about in our application process).
I’m contacting an attorney and filing a BBB complaint against them — something I’ve never done, and this is the second bad google review I’ve ever left, if that tells you how negative of an experience we’ve had with them. I just don’t want anyone else to have to experience it themselves, so please — listen to all the other reviews and do not give these crooks your money.
