I moved out of this place in November, and I still have nightmares about living here again. If I could give this place less than a one-star review, I absolutely would. It is terrible. I genuinely hope they close their doors for good so competent people can buy the building and gut it again. It has so much potential but has been ruined to the point of no return. I lived in this complex for nearly 3 years, in two separate units, and have witnessed it at its best and its worst. As of right now, it is at its worst (from what I see in the recent reviews). Since I moved in, management has changed about 4-5 times. Each time the quality of service has only diminished. Terrible management, disgusting living conditions, homeless individuals hanging out behind the building (maybe even getting into the building), loud neighbors, new Airbnb guests constantly. I wrote over 2,000 words on why this place is terrible, but Google won't let me post it something that long. So, I will say this: don't live here. Don't stay here. Don't give them your time, money, or attention. Just don't.

Do not move here! Food and packages get stolen constantly. Management does nothing to fix it. Management is too cheap to pay for 24/7 security. However they have no problem charging you 1,700 dollars a month to live here.

I stayed at an air bnb this past weekend, Samantha in the office was so kind to show me how to use the fob system to get up the elevator. The apartment itself was perfect and everything was so clean.

⭐️ 1 Star – Avoid at All Costs Euclid Grand is a perfect example of what happens when a property is handed over to SMYTHE Property Management complete neglect, zero accountability, and blatant disrespect toward residents. The office staff is rude, dismissive, and unprofessional, especially Samantha and Ro. Any time issues are raised, you’re talked down to, brushed off, or given the same tired line: “We’re trying” with no timelines, no solutions, and no follow-up. Their attitudes make it very clear they don’t care about residents or the conditions people are forced to live in. And let’s talk about the building itself: everything is broken. Garage doors constantly malfunction, elevators are unreliable, hallways and stairwells are dirty and vandalized, trash piles up, and basic maintenance requests are ignored or delayed indefinitely. This place looks and feels neglected. Security is nonexistent. Packages are stolen regularly, cars are being broken into, and there is absolutely no visible security presence. Residents do not feel safe, yet management continues to collect rent without addressing the most basic safety concerns. The office is rarely open, communication is terrible, and SMYTHE Property Management has completely failed this property. What’s being charged here is nowhere near justified by the living conditions or the treatment of residents. If you’re considering Euclid Grand, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This building is poorly managed, the staff is disrespectful, and SMYTHE has shown they are incapable of maintaining a safe or livable community.

STAY FAR AWAY. I’ve lived at Euclid Grand for two years and this place has gone completely downhill. The leasing office is never open. The hallways are filthy, stairwells are full of garbage and vandalism, and there is no security presence at all. Packages are constantly stolen, garage doors, front doors & elevators are broken for weeks now even months at a time, and now there have been car break-ins. Residents are left completely unprotected. Dealing with the office is beyond frustrating. Samantha is rude and dismissive, offering nothing but “we’re trying” with no timelines, no accountability, and no follow-through. Ro, another staff member with SMYTHE Properties The so-called half ass management company is no better she’s unprofessional, unhelpful, and unwilling to take resident concerns seriously. We’ve been told there is no on-site property manager, which explains the total lack of oversight and urgency. Serious issues are ignored, and communication is almost nonexistent. On top of all of this, the building feels unsafe. There are bedbugs in more then half of the units, an excessive number of Airbnbs, and zero sense of community or control. Ownership should be deeply concerned, because at the rate this place is deteriorating, Euclid Grand is quickly becoming the next Reserve Square. This is not luxury living. It’s neglect. Do not move here. This place needs Joey and amandee back!
