I really wish I could give this place a better review but I truly can not. Being 20 and living alone for the first time I was expecting something safe. The staff and workers here are very kind but very lazy. I’ve had mice poop in my cabinets and dead mice in my apartment same with living ones for the past 11 months, I have watched pest control come in and look directly at it and leave. My apartment itself is nice, working ac, good heat and overall looks clean, but my safety has been scaring me. Just in the past month, I’ve had 3 different occasions where people bang on my door at 3 in the morning saying they are maintenance while laughing to each other. I’ve also had guns and lasers point int my apartment from the parking lot before. My Friends car was broken into and he lost his computer and other personal items. I just renewed my resent for another year keeping faith that they will step up with all of these bad reviews. I’m currently working with an attorney to get my rent suspended legally until they can fix what needs to be fix (took 3 months to simply change a lightbulb in my bathroom). It’s pleasant here since my work and school are nearby, but as a 20 year old I don’t recommend moving into this complex, especially if it’s your first.

Lived here for about 10 months now. So far I’ll list the different things I noted during my stay - the lobby has no type of safety. Anybody can come through without needing a key or fob. I was told that the key fob entrance would be fixed to ensure safety but it has not been followed through - the elevator and hall ways is absolutely disastrous. The elevator has different types of smell each day. It could be animal urine or anything else. It’s always extra sticky. The hallways are incredibly old and worn out , the carpet is very dirty and so are the walls. - Had issues with my washer and dryer since I moved in and it was not fixed till 7 months after I moved in after multiple complaints - They DO NOT answer their phones when you call so just forget about it. If you’re not coming in person, forget it. - There is also a very big pest problem. Do not listen if they tell you there isn’t. When I moved in, I was told I wouldn’t have any issues at all with it because they have a new pest control team. So far I found wasps, bugs, roaches and over 5 mice in my apartment. I find a new insect each week. - Uneven floor boards - Oh they use central heating. So they decide when to turn on your heating system depending on the weather outside. Same thing with your AC. - Now the only bright side, you have a lot of space in the apartment and it looks good in the inside. If you can get past all of these, you’ll be good. But as for me, I’m out once my lease is up.

Maintenance here is extremely disappointing. They never inform residents in advance when there’s an issue from their side. There has been a continuous water problem, and instead of fixing it properly, they sent a message telling us to use the gym bathroom. Honestly, it’s unacceptable. They shut off the water the whole night without any prior notice. Imagine needing to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, in cold weather, and having to walk all the way to the gym bathroom — it’s ridiculous. Would they do the same if they were in our situation? It has now been 20 hours with no update, and the management is very rude whenever we approach them with concerns. But they are extremely strict when it comes to collecting rent. If anyone is looking for a new place to stay, please don’t choose this apartment.

I am a resident of 707 Martin Luther King Dr W, and this situation has crossed all limits of negligence. We are still without water, and with the heavy rain outside, it has become almost impossible to manage basic daily needs. This is not just inconvenient — it is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of responsibility from management. This water issue keeps happening repeatedly, and every time residents are left to suffer with no support, no urgency, and absolutely no compensation. Yet if rent is even one day late, management has no hesitation in charging a $50 late fee. This double standard is completely unfair and disrespectful to residents. We are extremely frustrated, exhausted, and disappointed. This property is failing to provide the most basic necessity: water. Management must stop giving excuses, take real accountability, fix this problem permanently, and compensate all residents who have been dealing with this ongoing mess. Residents deserve reliability — not continuous inconvenience and ignored concerns.
