The apartments are awesome- I really enjoyed living here. It’s in a quieter part of downtown. They handle maintenance issues immediately… it’s clean and safe. I’m giving one star because of management- They are some of the least understanding people I’ve ever had to deal with. They make no exceptions regardless of your situation. Just keep that in mind before signing a lease with them.

I am so excited about my future here at Sycamore Place Lofts! My unit is absolutley stunning and I never would have thought such a nice apartment existed within my price range. Mikaela is hands down the reason I chose to move forward with this leasing company. She was patient (more than patient) and allowed me to view properties more than once just to ensure I was happy. She listened to my requests and concerns, and found the perfect home for me. Couldn't have done this without her!

Place is a dump came to visit family the dog park reeked of irony so bad I couldn’t catch my breath, the elevator seemed to be broken most of our trip. Vending machine downstairs took our money. Dated gym equipment, and my DoorDash order was stolen. Someone’s car window was busted out one of the nights as well. Family member can’t wait until their lease is up. SHE’s RUNNING!!

Sycamore Place Lofts is a community that offers a lot. The units are very well maintained, provides plenty of natural light, pet friendly. This property is easily accessible to the highways and is in walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants.
The leasing agent Mikeala was very patient, knowledgeable, and took the time to describe features that each property had to offer. She took the time to show me the apartments in the other communities to provide me with options that suited my needs. I did not feel rushed to make a decision and was able to narrow down the unit of my choice.
Hands down, this community would make a great choice for anyone who is looking to move to a community where the lease agents are kind and compassionate towards the members that they serve.
You'll be happy that you chose this community as your new home.

RUN!!
This place is a nightmare!
DOG PARK: Disgusting!!! Management does a horrible job maintaining this. Residents do not pick up after their dogs and even though there are cameras and threats of fines, it’s obviously not enforced. In addition, management does not seem to care since they don’t have it regurly cleaned themselves (see pics).
ELEVATOR: Always breaking down. Most of the time its over a weekend when residents desperately need it for groceries and moving in and out. Management has no sense of urgency when it comes to keeping it running smoothly.
CHEAP: Management is extremely cheap when it comes to repairing anything in the apartment and definitely does not replace appliances etc. My dishwasher was repaired over a dozen times for the same issue. I was even told by a maintenance man that they very seldom replace anything. They just keep putting band aids on a problem and don’t seem to care how inconvenient it is for the resident to have the appliance keep breaking down.
One time, the entrance to the apartment, that was equipped with a fingerprint /key fob electronic entrance, was not working over a holiday weekend. Management did not fix it right away and it was down for over 3 days. Residents had to find creative ways to enter their own apartment building. One resident, clearly annoyed , broke a window in the door just so they could get to their apartment.
Management, primarily, Danielle has to be the most incompetent, laziest manager. She was always off putting and rude whenever you approached her about issues. Always making excuses for her lack of management skills. We constantly got emails about them taking off for long weekends etc. meanwhile their apartment complex is a falling apart.
On a final note, this is the first time I have ever left a bad review for an apartment complex. That alone says a lot.
In response to your last comment. You are incorrect. The dog park is always dirty and the photos of the snow was like that for days not over a weekend. I have included more photos that were take recently and not over a weekend. The last 4 pics were taken by a resident that is residing there now. I will not reach out to you now because you were never interested in discussing these issues when I would bring them up. So quit trying to make it look I’m a disgruntled renter and I’m not telling the truth. Everything I said above is 100% true and I have plenty of witnesses to back me up. Shall I have them leave reviews as well?
