- SGSophie GoodmanJan 21, 20262.0I’m writing this review after moving out of Brookstone Village over six months ago and only recently hearing back about my security deposit. This is the worst apartment complex I’ve ever lived in. We had a squirrel eat through the drywall and end up inside my bedroom, and maintenance left a hole to the outside open for a full week. One night, a man showed up at 12 a.m. on a weekday, with no uniform, claiming to be emergency maintenance for a water heater issue — we had not reported any problem and didn’t even know the water heater was broken, which was terrifying. I eventually had to contact the Better Business Bureau just to get issues addressed. Our washer and dryer were replaced multiple times, maintenance left a moldy toilet seat in our living room, and my car was broken into twice…list goes on. “Gated security” is a false advertisement, you’ll know why just by driving in. Let that be sign one! Management is extremely rude, dismissive, and slow to respond. They gaslight tenants, are rarely in the office during posted hours, and take no accountability. If Robin is still there, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Brookstone Village is unsafe and not worth the price or location.
