I have been living at Hampton Knoll for a long time and shocked by the content posted here. The girls in the office are always cheerful and jump to help. So much so that I referred my children here. Office staff, in particular Monika, made process and transition simple and smooth.
For all you haters, get a life!
I recently toured this community. Even though I stopped in without an appointment, Monika took the time to assist me immediately and answered all my questions. The service was professional, helpful, and very much appreciated. After my experience, I strongly disagree with negative comments I've seen here as they did not reflect the level of service I received at all.

The drive around the property was very nice and seemed like the owner does a lot of upkeep. On the other hand, Customer Service is lacking and the previous review just proved I wasn't hallucinating. I arrived to my tour on time and Monica was sitting at her desk and didn’t bother getting up to greet or anything. After a minute I peeked my head around the corner to her asking “Do you need anything?” I said I have an appointment. She huffed and said you can take a seat out there? The guest or party room I go. My partner and I sat there for a good 5 mins. Most leasing agents have me sit at their desk but okay? She was kind of decent going over the floor plans with me and pricing. I am looking to move in JUNE and she told me I was late looking. I should have been looking a lot sooner. I tried calling and sent emails starting in early JAN and nobody ever responds at this property. I booked a tour online. The admin fee of $300 was ridiculous and no offers for reduced deposit even if credit is outstanding. $215 amenity fee was appalling considering I NEVER paid that for cable, internet, and trash combined. What a rip off!! She told me to come back in a few weeks or so if I wanted to see something. I had to kind of get confrontational to just get her to show me anything. Monika acted like I was asking for too much. Is that your job? It was a 1 bedroom but it gave me a feel for if I wanted that place or not. Maybe changing your customer service from leasing then I might consider paying those hefty fees. Base rent is fair but there are better affordable options in the Merriman Valley with way more amenities. I did not feel welcomed at all. Treated as if I was a nuisance for even stopping by. If I didn’t talk her into showing me the 1 bedroom then I would’ve wasted a trip. I live almost an hour away. How about a call back to follow up before my appointment if you are low on inventory?
Upon touring this beautiful property today, I was met with not only disrespect but extreme disbelief. The property is located in “The Valley,” surrounded by wooded areas and a few little shops down the road.
I had a tour with Monica and She was lovely over the phone but extremely rude in person. I arrived 10 minutes early to tour and expected to wait but still wanted to be early. She tells me She can’t help me until my appointment time, which is fine, she played on her phone the whole time and picked at her nails. I didn’t mind I assumed she was on break. I asked her what was available and she gave me a snotty answer of “did you look online before coming.” I responded with yes of course, but didn’t know if anything else was taken since looking a couple days prior. She huffs at that and acts like I should already know?
We finally get to one of the apartments and I’m walking kinda of slow because I have a bad knee. She doesn’t care and leaves me behind. I eventually find my way to where she headed down the hall and I was met with her standing there with an attitude. We walk into the apartment and immediately met with a cat urine smell. I ask her if there was a way to remove that smell if I wanted this apartment and she said “there is no smell.” IT WAS STRONG. I brushed it off. We continued to tour the place and the entire time she was standing there tapping her foot and looking at the time. I asked her if it was a loud unit and she told me no. Not even 2 min later you can hear loud foot steps from upstairs and I said “I thought it was quiet” and she says “that is quiet.” very snappy very rude very quick to tell me I’m in the wrong.
I asked if there was anything else available due to cat smell and noisy, and she told me i’d have to come back another time to view more apartments because she didn’t have time.
As we are exiting the building I noticed a roach on the wall and I point it out to her and she tells me that’s not a roach but a fly… A FLY. I assure her I know what a roach looks like and she SNAPS at me with “your eyes need checked, that is a fly.” I then tell her that it’s not necessary I do not want to move in anymore and she shoed me away with her hand and walked off… What type of place are we running here?!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Monkia is extremely disrespectful and acts like she is better than anyone else. She rolled her eyes at every question you had annd flipped her hair and stayed on her phone the entire time. She ignored my child 4 different times when she was attempting to talk to her when no other discussions were going on. We toured an apartment and she was rushing us to hurry up because she had other appointments. even though we were there for an appointment. She then proceeded to lie to us after we paid nearly $500 in application fee’s, that the unit was taken, and we weren’t approved because we had a collection on a different apartment which is not true. if you can avoid living here, PLEASE DO SO. They will take your money and lie to you. And avoid Monika at all costs, anytime i try to call and talk to her she hangs up the phone.
