I’ve lived in this building for almost four years, dating back to when it was Avalon, so I’ve seen a lot of changes over time. Through all of those changes, Jenn has been one of the biggest reasons I’ve stayed. While there have been staffing changes, the people who stayed have been wonderful, and Jenn truly feels like the heart of this building. She creates a real sense of community and makes residents feel comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of. She remembers people by name and always takes the time to help. The maintenance team also deserves recognition, they’re always fast, helpful, and great to work with whenever issues come up.

I recently had a great experience living in this apartment complex, especially with the transition to living residential . From the beginning, the new management has shown a clear commitment to improving the community and taking care of residents. Communication has been a big upgrade—questions and maintenance requests are handled quickly and professionally. You can tell there’s a real effort to stay organized and responsive, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day living. The property itself has also been getting attention, with noticeable improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and overall upkeep. Overall, it’s been a very positive change, and I’m happy to see the direction the complex is heading. Looking forward to seeing even more improvements in the future.

I’ve been living here for several years, and the recent transition to The Altos has been a very positive experience. Living Residential hosted a wonderful welcome party with plenty of food and wine, which was a great introduction to the new management. I especially appreciate the variety of events they’ve been organizing—it really feels like they’re making a strong effort to build a sense of community, and it shows. While there have been some issues with the concierge, the leasing team has been actively working to improve things, and I’ve already noticed meaningful progress over the past couple of weeks. Overall, I’m very happy with the new management and look forward to seeing what’s ahead.

Most of the positive reviews here are of the previous owners, Avalon bay. Since being taken over by the Altos the place has fallen apart. Getting packages is a total mess, we only get a notification every other time, half the time no one is at the front desk, and half the time someone is at the front desk they can’t find it. I don’t know what they did to mess up the system that had been working fine before, but right now it’s a disaster. If you are thinking of living here, ignore any review older than a few months ago because it is shocking how much things fell apart with the new owners. Do not move here!

Everything was great before the building transitioned from Avalon to Altos, but the change was made without any prior notice. We had been enjoying our apartment and had already signed a full-year lease renewal based on that experience. Since the switch, several issues have come up: * Parking issues: Random people have been taking our assigned parking spot in the garage. The front desk has been unhelpful, only saying they “left a note” for the leasing office. Our direct emails to the leasing office have been ignored—despite the fact that we are now paying a higher parking rate this year. * Loss of 24-hour concierge: The building no longer offers 24/7 concierge service and instead uses third-party staff outside of weekday 9–5 hours. This has created real problems—for example, we can no longer have friends check in on our pets at night or on weekends. The leasing office claims they don’t trust the third-party staff to release keys, yet we are expected to trust them with handling packages. Even when the leasing office is open on weekends, they have refused to assist with key access. * Package issues: We currently have three missing packages. When we checked with the front desk, we learned other residents are experiencing the same issue. Despite having photo proof of delivery, we were told to contact the delivery carriers. It seems likely that multiple packages are stuck in the Amazon lockers downstairs, but staff are unable to access or resolve the issue. Again, there has been no communication or proactive update from management. Also the Amazon locker charges fees if packages are not picked up within a certain timeframe and does not provide support for non-Amazon deliveries. This makes the situation even more frustrating, as we may incur additional costs for issues that are outside of our control and lack proper support from building management.
