  The front office staff does not live on the property, yet repeatedly makes day-to-day living more difficult for the residents who do. Rather than serving as a resource, the office functions as an obstacle: requests are dismissed, issues go unresolved, and the tone is consistently condescending. If the compensation for these positions is too low to attract staff capable of providing basic professionalism and follow-through, that is a management failure, not a justification for residents’ needs to go unmet. Rent-paying residents should not absorb the consequences of poor staffing or low-wage indifference.

  Overpriced and inadequate sound-proofing. Chronic harassment by neighbor below me, and management did nothing to resolve the issue.

  The Springs apartments were pretty decent when we first moved in a year and half ago, but have since become horribly managed and dirty. Luckily we were able to move, since things continued getting worse. Once Julia, the former manager quit, things really took a bad turn downhill. The common ways of the building are so filthy and no matter how many times we complained to the front desk, they simply wouldn't do a thing. We found out from a couple of neighbors they had also complained and were fed up with the filth, but their complaints had also gotten them nowhere. Beyond that, the walls are paper thin and there is a mold problem in the bathrooms as well as the entire building itself. Black sludge will come out of the drains in both the shower drains and faucets, and mold collects behind the cheap plastic shower walls. No matter how much you clean and try to mitigate the mold, there's no stopping it. From what we were told, it is a building wide problem. One of the neighbors had their shower ceiling fall in and told us there was mold all throughout the ceiling and walls. Obviously that is an extremely unhealthy health hazard. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend The Springs to anyone, which is shame because they had the potential to be nice apartments.
