As soon as we moved in our AC didn’t work. Mid summer and no AC we’ve been here 6 months and they still haven’t fixed it. They gave us window AC units and they were still there when it started to snow. We had to go in 3 times before they finally came and got them. Our outlets in both bathrooms and master bedroom has gone out 3 separate times. I would but in maintenance request and a month later still nothing. We would have to go in 3-4 times before they actually sent someone. Then a couple weeks later they were out again. Our washer broke and it took them a month to come look at it but by then we had already bought a new part and fixed it ourselves. Our entire stove and oven is crooked so cooking is hard. 8pm and our water goes out in the entire place. So expensive for a run down place were everything is always breaking and you have to practically beg for them to send someone who doesn’t even fix anything

Twinlake apartments is easily one of the worst apartments complexes I have encountered. Brittany Palmer the leasing agent was no help in offering a decent apartment. When my girlfriend and I moved in the apartment it was still being renovated, there were wasps everywhere and no working water or AC. It’s been months and the AC still doesn’t work, if you expect maintenance to be helpful; don’t. They will randomly come into your apartment with NO NOTICE and walk right in. The water and power randomly goes out and maintenance does random tasks that makes them seem busy but aren’t doing anything to fix it. I have had to fix so many things because it takes the months to get to you. The only way to get out of the lease is essentially writing an essay on why you don’t want to live here and pay three months rent before you move out. Management is to be nowhere close to good, it’s like going to a child for help, they are always rude even when you come in saying hi and being patient because you will have to wait to talk to a manager or a leasing agent to get done gossiping about why they hate working here. Jackie the other leasing agent loves being disrespectful to the people living here. I have heard her and Brittany talk about disrespecting and unprofessional things about people they are showing apartments to. I would rate Twinlakes a 0/5 if I could. There is no value in residing there, as there are significantly better apartment options available.

Korey was super helpful. He listened to what was important to me and showed me the relevant, available floor plans, while fully explaining all amenities and required fees of the complex!

BEWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!!! I can’t stress enough how bad Twin Lakes is. Non-stop issues with the apartment we were living in, squirrels, leaks, the apartment was practically falling apart. When we moved out we cleaned everything (I mean, everything), carpet was steam cleaned, fridge was disinfected, oven, stove, sink, dishwasher, everything. All filters were cleaned the apartment was practically move in ready (aside from the holes in the wall from the squirrels that lived in there, which we reported every day to the office for months) they still charged us $230 in carpet & cleaning fees as well as waste removal. During our move out inspection I brought up the fact that the squirrels had chewed through the walls and had ruined some of our property because of it (about $400 worth of stuff). The person doing the inspection said that they would call it even and wouldn’t charge us anything due to the damage. Here we are a full year later and I’m getting a call from collections saying Twin Lakes charged us to clean the carpet and remove the waste? This place is a joke, renter beware, don’t let the location fool you this place is not where you want to live.
