The dozens of negative reviews speak for themselves but here is our ONLY walk way into the building during rain, snow, etc that management refuses to fix. It’s not only unsafe but it is illegal and despite all the tenants complaining numerous time they do NOT care. When you ask for the regional manager Liz to contact you she will only do so through phone so that there is no paper trail and she can’t be held liable. This has been an issue for years I’ve been told

I have had numerous problems with twin Lakes starting off with the fact that one of my major keys to moving in was a microwave and the apartment that I first looked at had a microwave, but they showed me a place that was already taken or somebody had put in for that apartment and still showed me it. So a back up apartment which I thought would have a microwave did not, and then upon further looking after moving into that apartment, which that was my fault found exposed wires next to the furnace, dirty floors, dirty washer, and dryer, rust in the dishwasher, broken lock on the back door and numerous other issues. Which to their credit most have been dealt with. Then comes the smoke detector within the first few weeks of me living, there is going off incessantly. I call maintenance and it takes them almost 2 weeks to change the battery. Now fast forward again I have a mouse in my apartment that has since been taken care of by me, but I called maintenance. Left a voicemail and I have still yet Heard from them. So what I did is, I bought trapped myself and I trapped the mouse and still nothing from anybody. I have never lived in an apartment that took this long to get back to me. At most, I have waited a day or two. Twin Lakes be lucky to get an answer within two weeks.I don’t know if it’s maintenance. I don’t know if it’s management. I don’t know. The only thing That I know is that so far in my three months living at twin Lakes I’ve had issue after issue after issue.

Where do I even begin. First off I have a 3 bed room apartment I’ve lived in this complex for 5 years now and I have had nothing but issues 2/3 years ago our hvac system starting leaking for the central air system called it in took them months to respond looked at it cut the ceiling where it was leaking said they needed a hvac specialist to fix it cool understood but now here we are 2/3 years after we reported that and my central air still doesn’t work their still is a hole in my ceiling in the laundry room. We’ve called and complained so many times even told them I am asthmatic and they said we will get to you when we get to you still don’t have central air in my apartment but they said we gave you 1 window unit until we can get to it I have a 3 bedroom apartment we have complained to the lease office multiple times they either don’t respond or stick to we have other tenants we will get to you when we get to you. Fast forward our neighbors upstairs water heater bursted in the middle of the night flooded my apartment called it in they responded I was like cool they will fix it but boy was I wrong they dried the ceiling and apartment out with commercial fans then when I said that’s not gonna keep the mold from growing they told me I don’t know what I’m talking about because we aren’t specialist and to fix the water spots after they dried it out with fans they just put primer over it to mask it now I have mold spots on my walls. Next the foundation in my apartment is trash it’s cracking the walls and seeping the floor complained never got responses called no one is ever in the office or they are just letting the phone ring left multiple voice mails never returns called but still not fixing the issues we have reported now they added internet and when we told them we don’t want it they said oh well and went into my apartment when I wasn’t home to install it even after I asked them not to they said that’s we have no choice I pay for better internet then they are offering. I have so many other complaints I can post about but the post will never end. My family and I cannot wait until we can leave this place finically we are stuck at the moment but absolutely looking. I do not recommend renting from this apartment complex.

Terrible experience, terrible communication, and terrible service. We moved in and signed a lease for a apartment, then about a week before our move in date all of a sudden apparently the apartment WE ALREADY SIGNED THE LEASE FOR got resigned by the old owners so they couldn’t get us into the first apartment. They eventually gave us another in a different location with the same layout but had problems to it which we told our landlord about and was told she would find someone to fix those problems. Then without us knowing, our landlord left and we weren’t told anything about it so we had no way of communicating problems unless we called(which they almost never answer) or going in person when they are open for only a short time or no one is in the office. We have called and tried to communicate with the office or on multiple occasions and haven’t gotten responses or even help on things the last straw was recently, when our lease was coming up, we went in to let them know we were thinking of not resigning in September, then tried calling multiple times and leaving voicemails to confirm we weren’t, only for them to charge us with a $3000 LATE NOTICE FEE AND GAVE THEM NOTICE ON THE SAME DAY AS OUR MOVE OUT DATE. Tried contacting them for them to tell me i should’ve tried more which is ridiculous. They eventually said they would let there boss know and will email me to try and get this settled and still haven’t gotten a SINGLE EMAIL. If you want to not go through the hassle of any of this, then avoid this place!

I am not sure how many 1 Star reviews it will take for people to STAY away from this horrendous place. There has been ZERO shoveling, plowing, salting or any protective measure for tenants today on 12/2 from the on-going snow storm. The walk way to the apartment FLOODS three buildings over when it rains hard to where leaving and entering your apartment is physically impossible unless you walk through the dirty flood water, which is backed up sewage by the way. I have reached out to management DOZEN times in the past 6 months, there has been no urgency to fix this despite it being negligence and against the law under warranty of Habituality. On top of that They attempted to strong-arm every person into this new Spectrum deal even though in their announcement it states "New Residents and Renewals" but management states that its in the lease to add new charges with 30-days notice. There was no notice a the people impacted was not myself. Not only that in the lease it states "Internet service to your dwelling will be paid by you  directly to the utility service provider Any current resident please look into your rights as tenants and that this is a breach of contract and illegal. When Management was confronted they simply told me i could "Opt out" of the charges but this wasn't until They ALREADY contacted spectrum and had my services cut off. Management denies this entirely, but Spectrum NAME dropped the Manager of Twin lakes. I was forced into new equipment which was a headache in a half and took 3 different spectrum appointments of easily 12 total hours to fix my internet. This place is Shady, it is unsafe, it is overpriced. They do not care about you, your wellbeing or your time here at twin lakes they solely only care about selling you false hope, lies, and handing you the keys to a mess of an apartment with no protentional I understand times are tough and you may need a place now and don't have many options but please consider other options as you are going to be signing away a lot of your life with the amount of issues, stress, drama and pain you will get once you get your keys. Anything Solomon organization is notorious for a bad time. Read every review seriously, these are not bitter people. These are people who are living in illegal living conditions.
