  I’ve been renting here for the past 2 years unfortunately and I do not even know where to begin. When our lease was up in the beginning of the year the office lady “Linda” told us there was a gorgeous apartment in building number 1 with brand new hard wood floors. It seemed like a good option. We checked the place out and the whole apartment was covered in carpet beetles. Every section of the trim was coming off of the walls. The air conditioner was covered in black mold from the inside. We explained that we would only sign if these issues were resolved before we moved in. A month had passed Linda “guaranteed” the apartment was ready and there was no sign of carpet beetles. We moved in to find out that nothing Linda had promised was actually done. I went along each section of the trim, caulked ever last bit of the gaps in the walls but we were still getting carpet beetles. Anyways a month passes and out of nowhere we started to get mice. In 3 days we killed over 15 mice that were coming out of our cabinets. We had maintenance caulk up any entry point as there was gaps in our ceiling to the cabinets. We moved in April our oven smokes no matter what we cook. Our burners smoke no matter what we cook and they hardly stay heated or get extremely hot there is no medium but maintenance has “tested” our burners and oven numerous times and told us there’s nothing wrong with it. We still can hardly cook here because of it. Our dishwasher is our other complaint that still has not been dealt with. Every time we use the dishwasher the dishes come out even dirtier than they were before. There’s a black sludge on them that I believe is mold every time we use it but maintenance says there’s nothing wrong with it. We left for 10 days to dog sit and when we came back our apartment was covered in flies and we started to see maggots on our floor. We have killed at this point 100s of flies in a month since we have been back. There’s fly pupa on our bathroom floor, our kitchen floor, and our living room. We remove more and more each day. Now we are seeing cockroaches in our kitchen. We have pets and we can’t have pest control come here every week to spray. Now our neighbors are great. They yell, scream all night long, they blast music that shakes the whole complex, they leave cigarette butts all over the front of our door outside, they throw their beer bottles anywhere outside, they leave the front door to the building open all day/night long and now we a bunch of insect issues because of it. In this past week I have came outside to a whole half eaten pizza just thrown next to the front of the front door then people wonder why we are getting roaches and flies. Yesterday we came out and in the lobby somebody threw cigarettes on the carpet and smashed them with their feet. It makes no sense and is disgusting. We are very clean people. We take care of our apartment and this is the second year that I’m paying for someone’s unhygienic behavior bc last year in building number 7 we had 6 whole months of a roach infestation. We didn’t even live there for 6 months because of it. We would cook something would turn away for a moment and there would be a roach in our food. This is no way to live. I don’t understand how this company still functions and if you think Merion is the answer to this place you are sadly mistaken. Try to call the office. You will just get an AI bot asking how many bedrooms you are looking for. Yes, maintenance is slightly more responsive but not when there’s only two employees on the property at all times. If you even think about moving here you are crazy. Get ready to breath in laundry all day long bc the dryer vents go to the top floor, not to the ceiling. Don’t understand how that’s code.

  I am so very happy to hear the news! That North Pointe and Fox Run is under new management by Merion Residential. Solomon Organization down right sucks. While Merion Residential is buying out apartments, they wouldn't happen to want to buy out Twin Lakes would they?

  Bill and John were awesome thank you guys so much for helping with our maintenance issues. Our air is blowing out even colder than before we needed it fixed! Such an unbelievable upgrade from past maintenance experiences! Can definitely tell this place might be turning around! Thank you guys again!

  An absolute pit of an apartment complex. Where to begin…. The dryer’s vent into the top floor landing area (at least in Bldg. 1) making breathing difficult and cannot be “up to code”, the roach and mouse infestations, the wild life nesting in the vents all throughout the buildings, the poor maintenance of each apartment and appliances within them, the dripping dirty air conditioning units, and the absolute lack of anyone working in the office makes communication with the building owner/management practically impossible. It’s a slum in the heart of Clifton Park. Shame on the Solomon group for running this place the way it has, it has changed hands recently and there doesn’t seem to be any type of improvements on the horizon but I hope to be proven wrong.

  I just recently moved in but my experience has been wonderful. It was a very easy process to move in, Courtney was extremely helpful with the process. It’s a very quiet nice apartment complex. The new management has been very informative as well. Anytime I’ve had an issue or questions it’s handled quickly and easily. Definitely the best apartment I’ve lived in so far.
