Just move out of there last month since the one that moved us in didn’t listen to what I wanted. I have three kids and they put us on the third floor when I had asked for the first floor because of my health and 3 kids. we moved out last month and we made sure everything was clean and there was no damage to the apartment when we moved out. There was already scratches on the floor and the counter tables already had cracks and the paint wasn’t that great and now they want to charge us for paint $960. That’s crazy and $450 for janitorial and 3 other chargers month to month when we had paid for the whole month like they asked and for carport that’s some BS!!! I never had a bad experience with any other place!

The Vineyards at Galleria are a bunch of con artists! I gave them $400 for my application 5 weeks ago and they won't even give me a decision! Renters beware, they are just making money with application fees and have no intention of leasing you an apartment.
Unprofessional and poor follow up
I had a scheduled appointment on March 9 at 11:15 AM. When I arrived on time, the office was closed for lunch with no prior notice. I came back around 12:30 PM and toured with Marissa, who said she’d send a quote that day. I never received it, and got no reply after emailing her the next day. It’s now March 11th still nothing. Disappointing experience.

Do NOT rent here. Overpriced with rude staff. The units were lovely, but I had leasing agents threaten me, they took our deposit and claim now that we still owe after moving out (something I am contesting now due to lack of communication on their part), and they are constantly switching payment apps (which has led to instances of being unable to pay rent yet they still tried to charge us late fees). It’s not worth the headache, you can definitely find somewhere better.

Terrible. Moved out with very little use and they claim "cabinet paint depreciation" and charging $1000 for that and $350 for a cleaning fee? Made up charges. Ridiculous. They use a flat matte paint which comes off with a fingernail rubbing on it and there is nowhere that needed a paint job. No way that requires a full new paint. We left it in the same condition maybe with a few fingernail scuffs and a few nail holes on the walls. Plus I took photos before move in and documented on the inspection sheet they already had scuffs, did a move out video as well.
I guess I'm not surprised about this behavior, because here's the rest of the shady experiences:
--They tack on so many additional charges in addition to the rent so whatever is advertised on website, add another 50% basically for actual cost, after their smart tech fees, forced cable and internet charge, community utilities and parking fees, etc.
--Additionally, the management never responds to complaints, and the neighbors are all smoking MJ all around the complex, on all sides of us and on walks with our baby we had to stop walking outside as it smelled like skunk everywhere.
--They couldn't even reply to acknowledge they received a move out notice also so we were anxious about them squeezing another month out of us .
I've lived in many places.. this negligence and mistreatment is what will make all renters anxious about a corporate style property management. I'm so disheartened with this company and I had thought they were professional on the level of other major places like FPI, with whom I've had a great experience from, so I thought I'd give them a shot. They even had posted saying they were training their management a couple weeks back. Training for what? 'How to make your bottom line more profitable' (by adding bogus charges to put strain on families)?
I cannot recommend Vineyards or Kromer to any potential tenants personally and even in my professional line of work, and this experience will not look good on their name.
I will be trying to fight this made-up charge for sure.
