  Caren is, in our experience, an exceptional real estate professional. She welcomed us to town, worked to understand our needs and hopes, and got us to the perfect home in no time. In addition to being very competent professionally, Caren is friendly, caring, and looked after all of our needs. She went out of her way to help us with things we just didn't know how to handle, since we are not from the area, and at the time we were at home in New Mexico. Competence and Caring - good words for Caren.

  Karen is an amazing realtor in ways any client would know their best interests were served. My experience was unique. I called her cold turkey when I found her listing appeared in a neighborhood my wife & I had been following. I was living out of state & called her on Thanksgiving morning. I immediately felt confident enough in her to engage her as my buyers agent. I flew into town on Friday & met Karen at the property on Saturday. I made an offer with her guidance & it was accepted by the sellers. The escrow was swift, smooth & no problems from either side. The details of inspection, escrow & resolutions of issues were without any problems. Karen took charge of all details & followed up on issues for a quick escrow.   When my wife and I decided to move to Reno, a good friend referred us to Caren and we're so glad she did. Caren listened carefully to what we wanted and provided excellent guidance and professional service every step of the way. She communicated with us frequently and was very patient with us as we learned the area and revised our plans. Simply put, Caren's knowledge, experience and high-touch service approach make her an excellent choice for anyone who needs a caring realtor in the Reno area.   Caren Christen is my realtor. She is exceptional in terms of her vast knowledge of the real estate market along with her many credentials. She has represented me on multiple listings of purchases and sales. I have referred Caren to several friends that were selling their properties who were also pleased with her work and the outcomes.   This is a update to my previous review: Caren again went above and beyond in helping me; this time it was finding an ethical and reputable realtor in Italy. She researched agents in the area in which I had inherited an apartment and connected me with one that was part of an international relocation program. Soon after arriving in Italy, I had an appointment which went well and I signed with the agent. Without Caren's help, I don't think I would have ever found this agency because there are so many in that small city. I trust Caren completely because not only is she an effective agent, she is someone with high integrity. I wish I could give her ten stars instead of five! -------------- Caren Christen went above and beyond to help my husband and I find a home in an area we would love when relocating to Reno from the Bay Area. Never having been to the Reno/Sparks area, we were at a disadvantage as to which areas to begin our home search. Caryn was very patient with us as we figured out which neighborhoods to focus our search and was very responsive in answering our multitude of questions by phone and email until we met in person. She patiently showed us many homes in a few areas she thought would be ideal for us. After we found the right home, she expertly negotiated the buying process and was always a calming presence during a very stressful period as we sold our Bay Area home and moved out of state. She is truly a gem of a realtor and we will rely on Caren to help us with our next move. Not only is she a very experienced realtor who is extremely knowledgeable about the Reno/Sparks area, she is a consummate professional who truly cares about her clients. Anyone who is fortunate to have Caren as their realtor will undoubtedly appreciate her professional expertise as well as her caring demeanor and attention to detail.
