  Our experience with this builder has been deeply frustrating and disappointing from start to finish. After our offer on one home had already been accepted, the builder sold that home out from under us, forcing us to select a different home at the last minute. We were given very limited information about the finishes and final details, leaving us rushed into a major decision without full transparency. Once we moved in, the problems only escalated — most notably with the tile flooring throughout the home, which remains unresolved. The tile surface is extremely rough and abrasive, became impossible to clean within just a few months, and traps dirt permanently despite following all recommended cleaning methods. The texture is so harsh that it shreds socks within weeks and has become a safety concern for our two small children. This is not cosmetic — it directly impacts the livability of the home. We raised these concerns with the builder and even allowed a tile test to be conducted. Despite clear real-world performance issues and the tile not aligning with the manufacturer’s own claims that it is easy to clean, the builder has refused to support or advocate for replacement. Instead, we were left with no solution, no guidance, and a problem we are forced to live with in a brand-new home. The service process itself is also unreasonable. Every service request requires multiple appointments, each demanding that we stay home for an entire half day. A simple repair to our son’s closet door frame took three separate appointments, and we were then told we would still need an additional visit for texture work and yet another for painting. The constant disruptions to our work schedules eventually forced us to abandon the repair entirely. We were also told our front yard tree would be replaced after it died within three months of moving in, only for the builder to later backpedal, claiming the replacement window was tied to the planting date — which occurred before we even moved in. This felt misleading and dismissive. Overall, everything becomes a fight with customer service. Concerns are minimized, promises change, and responsibility is deflected back onto the homeowner. For such a significant investment, this level of accountability and support is unacceptable. We would strongly caution anyone considering this builder to proceed carefully, ask detailed questions, and get everything in writing before committing.

  We recently closed on our new Pulte home in the Reverence community of Summerlin Nevada. Our experience was great and we highly recommend the whole Pulte team. Every phase of the process from the purchase of the home to the walk through was enjoyable. It is important to note that we lived out of state the entire time! The Pulte sales agent, Karen Pohl, was extremely helpful and informative and she quickly responded to all of our many questions. Our sales agent, Carrie Hammond with Keller Williams Realty Southwest, went above and beyond what was required and assisted us every step of the way! The superintendent of the building of our home was Steve Thompson and he was excellent. He promptly addressed all of our concerns and he even managed to accommodate some late changes that we made. He followed through after the closing and made sure that everything was exactly right. We would definitely build with Pulte homes again.
