  I lived in this complex for a total of about 4 years (2.5 years recently and another year and a half a few years prior), and my experience has been nothing short of a headache from start to finish. It started on day one when I was promised a fully renovated unit, only to show up and be given an unrenovated one. When I brought it up, management changed their story and claimed I was getting a “partially renovated” unit—as if that somehow made the bait-and-switch acceptable. From there, things only got worse. The property itself is a perfect example of appearances over substance. They keep the front portion of the complex looking clean and maintained, but the moment you move toward the middle or back, it’s like maintenance just completely stops. Landscaping is overgrown or dead, the grounds look neglected, and there are multiple lights that are either off or constantly blinking—which is not only unprofessional, but a major safety concern, especially given everything else happening on the property. Speaking of safety, this complex has had multiple car thefts and break-ins, including one that happened right next to my car. Someone even attempted to steal my neighbor’s car but was caught in the act. When we asked for camera footage, we were told the gate cameras “might not have been working” during the attempted robbery. Convenient timing, to say the least. When we asked management to send a community alert—because this has happened several times—they refused, saying they “didn’t want to cause panic.” Yet they had no issue sending out a full letter lecturing residents about how feeding stray cats is detrimental to the community. Apparently, feral cats are a bigger priority than the actual safety of residents. And to top everything off, on the day I was supposed to move out, they called someone who isn’t even listed on my lease and asked them to turn in my keys. Not only is that a massive breach of privacy, but they tried to claim that was the “contact number they had on file,” which is simply not true—I had been contacted directly many times before. So they were giving out my information to someone not on my lease and didn’t even attempt to call me first. This place has been disorganized, misleading, and careless from the very beginning. If you value honesty, safety, and basic professionalism, do yourself a favor and look anywhere else.

  My main feedback is for the wonderful human who works in the office, Devin. I cannot say enough about how friendly and personable he is. You can tell he truly cares about people and enjoys helping them. Thank you, Devin, for making not only Paisley and Pointe a better place, but also the world! We need more bright shiny souls like you!
