Located in tranquil northwest Las Vegas, NV, Elkhorn Grove is a gated new home community featuring luxury one- and two-story home designs with RV garage and RV parking options, a private community pool, and a central walking trail.
The homes are built very cheaply, quality is extremely poor. Builder did not make accommodations for water softener system which is essential in Las Vegas. The yards are connected, no privacy. Once you goninto your front gate you expect to be in a private situation, but you are not. Your neighbor has direct access to your property. The kitchen cabinets are those out of the 60's. They are not accessible at all. I'm not even using the Lower cabinets at all, they are a waste.
Cars are parked all up and down the street. It's horrible. There's a sharp turn going into the community and people speed around the corner making it very dangerous. The neighborhood looks dingy and not attractive. I think this is the worst village in all of Elkhorn but I haven't had time to check them all. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the community. If you are buying without seeing in person, beware. I didn't have a chance to visit in person and I'm extremely regretful. The yard is decent, that's what made me buy the house as that's hard to get, but beware of neighbors backyards next to your house. You can see straight into their backyard from your front door and it may not be pretty. The lack of privacy is extremely important and terribly worrisome.
Make sure you have good representation before buying. The prices of these homes are not at all comesureate to the quality of the neighborhood or the homes. This is highway robbery.
