Warning: Profound Lack of Empathy and Procedural Professionalism
Potential renters should be aware of the extremely disappointing level of service and management conduct at Lux Apartments. While the physical property may have “some appeal,” the staff's approach demonstrates a clear lack of both empathy and procedural knowledge, especially concerning complex tenant situations.
My experience involved an early lease termination due to a personal necessity that legally exempted me from standard penalty fees. Despite promptly informing management via multiple emails of my decision and specific vacate date, and further providing a certified letter citing the relevant legal statute that confirmed my exemption, the process was made unnecessarily adversarial and complicated.
Specifically, the Leasing Assistant Manager, Breanna, repeatedly attempted to compel me to sign paperwork that would have obligated me to pay the penalty fee, effectively ignoring the clear legal documentation provided. This insistence, contrary to established tenant rights, is highly concerning and suggests either a failure to understand or a deliberate disregard for basic landlord-tenant law.
The lack of organizational competence culminated when, upon returning the keys, the assistant manager stated, "Well, since you didn't let us know you were vacating...," a comment that was factually incorrect and deeply frustrating given the extensive email paper trail confirming the situation, dates, and legal basis for the move-out.
Furthermore, interactions with this manager were consistently defined by a defensive and hostile attitude, adding undue stress to an already stressful life event. The role of property management is to facilitate processes smoothly; here, the management actively creates obstacles.
I urge anyone considering Lux Apartments to look elsewhere. The constant struggle and unnecessary complication arising from management's lack of professionalism and customer service orientation make this a highly regrettable choice.

No me acaban de solucionar mi problema.
No hay ética. No hay empatía por los residentes en este lugar. Es una falta de respeto total lo que estoy viviendo aquí, desde el día 9 de octubre que reporte mi problema y nada, a ellos no les importa.
Mi consejo no vengas aquí, aléjense, no se arriesguen a que le pasen este tipo de cosas.
Me considero una buena residente, pero ellos me han echo perder lo estribos, porque no estoy hablando de que se daño un mueble, es el aire del apartamento, algo tan importante. Increíble de creer esta situación.

La verdad no había tenido ningún problema aquí, estaba bien conforme con el lugar, hasta hace poco que se me dañó el aire acondicionado de mi unidad y comenzó todo a ir mal. Coloque mi solicitud en la noche y al otro día en la tarde tuve que llamar para que vinieran. Cuando revisaron, efectivamente estaba dañado, me dijeron que me traerían un aire portátil cosa que no hicieron y tuve que ir al otro día a pedirlo, pero ni me moleste ni nada. Luego de una semana de espera me encuentro con el nuevo jefe de mantenimiento, una excelente persona por cierto (lástima que no recuerdo su nombre), el muy apenado me informa que no han podido ponerme un nuevo aire porque no tenían unidades de repuesto y tenían que esperar al jueves que la manager regresara y aprobara el presupuesto para hacer el pedido del nuevo aire. Exactamente a 15 días de hacer mi solicitud voy a la oficina a preguntar cómo va el proceso, porque en todos estos días ellos ni se molestaron en informarnos. Me defiendo en el inglés pero para que me explicaran bien le pido a la recepcionista que me llame a su compañera que está sentada en la oficina de atrás escuchándome que habla español, ella se hace la sorda y la recepcionista me dice que está ocupada. La recepcionista me dice que tengo que esperar una semana más a que la manager venga para que apruebe el presupuesto y después tenían que hacer el pedido del aire para que después me lo pusieran. Le explico cuánto tiempo llevo esperando, pero igual tendría que esperar aún más. Mi esposo se dirigió a hablar con la compañera que habla español la cual nos ignoró desde el inicio, para explicarnos mejor y ella muy grosera y con muy mala cara nos dijo que no era su culpa, donde le explicamos que de nosotros tampoco era la culpa que ellos están ahí para solucionar nuestros problemas que para eso pagamos renta. En fin, todos nos sobresaltamos y terminaron botándonos de la oficina.
En resumen un desastre total la administración de acá. No es culpa de ellos los problemas que puedan haber en las unidades, pero si es su responsabilidad resolverlos lo más rápido posible, ese es su trabajo, pero cuando uno se marcha te quieren cobrar hasta lo más mínimo que tiene la unidad para sacarte dinero y más dinero. Espero que cuando eso pase se acuerden de todos los días que mi unidad lleva sin aire acondicionado.
En fin un desastre.
Espero que mi problema se acabe de resolver.

Their money hungry and doesn’t care someone dumped my roommates clothes out washer and dumped juice on it and renew manger said theirs nothing they can do and the cameras that should be working in the laundry facilities for all money they charge doesn’t work so we can’t even play it back 😡I hv live here for over year now this not the first problem either AND IM A RESIDENT SWEETHEART 💁🏽♀️
