  I applied for a home at 6543 Peachtree Lane and dealing with Avalon Oaktree Realty has truly been a nightmare. The employee we dealt with from Avalon Realty must be very experienced in gaslighting and shifting goalposts because that's all she did since I applied for the home. Documents were requested from me that no other realty company had requested in the past. I have rented homes that cost $1000 more a month than this home and they did not require the amount of documentation that Avalon did. I attempted to get my accountant to gather these documents for me, but when I told this employee that the documents could take some time to get, she said bank statements would be enough. After she said this, I told my accountant that the documents were no longer needed and moved on, thinking that my detailed bank statements would be good to show my income. 5 days later the employee contacted me to ask for documents but never said specifically what she needed. My girlfriend then called the employee since I was busy with work and was told that I needed to produce the documents from my accountant. I truly have no idea why these documents were needed now, but nonetheless we were not given a deadline. I attempted to get my accountant on it, but he said it would take him some time to put together. The next day, the employee told us that we had 3 hours to produce the document or they would move onto the next application. After speaking for a bit, she agreed to give us until the end of the day. I got my accountant on it, and I sent them the document at 4:30pm, prior to the end of the day. The next day, my girlfriend and I were sent rejections letters because the document wasn't produce in time. I personally think that 4:30pm is before the end of the day, but it seems like the employee moved the goalpost again without communicating this. My girlfriend posted an honest review of Avalon Oaktree and instead of admitting to their mistakes, they threatened her with a lawsuit because she "threatened their business". My girlfriend did not backdown from telling the truth, so they agreed to refund only my application fee if she took her reviews down. Now they're producing emails and text messages that were never sent to us in a pathetic attempt to prove that they never said that my bank statements weren't good enough and they needed this document from my accountant. It is my opinion that Avalon Oaktree is unprofessional and rude and doesn't deserve your honest business.

  Nunca rente con Avalon Realty esta compañía es una verdadera porquería, se quedan con casi todo el depósito y cuando pedí cuentas porque no fueron honestos no saben dar explicaciones y se esconden, no dan la cara, como ya no somos inquilinos te ven como enemigo la que está en la oficina la que se pone pelucas y tiene todo el pelo en la cara y mal vestida te ve como que nunca te ha visto, y la Meliza ni se asoma para darte una explicación de que pasó con tu depósito Jamás agan negocio con esta gente inepta, rentamos con ellos nos salimos porque no aceptamos el incremento y ahora ni se renta la propiedad y la están rentando más barata y nosotros siempre puntuales y limpios, hicimos mejoras en el apartamento y No cobramos las cosas que le pusimos, Deverian de ser más honestos para que les vaya bien
