  I've been living here for 3 months, and it's so much nicer than anything I could afford in California! Very quiet and peaceful during the day and at night, neighbors are quiet and keep to themselves, the grounds are super clean, everything looks clean and well-maintained. MASSIVE thank-you to Shawna, who processed my move-in application so fast I barely had time to blink. I've never seen anyone move so quickly and efficiently! That helped me out a lot. And she let me see multiple apartments until I found the one I'd be happy with :) Another thank-you to Jonathan in maintenance, who welcomed me to Henderson and took the time to explain things about my new apartment to me. He even covered his shoes when he came in. Overall, a well-run place with good people, and I definitely recommend checking them out.

  I would have been very happy to leave a positive review for this place. I had high hopes because it seemed like an excellent place to call home. Unfortunately, yesterday afternoon we went to view an apartment and finalize everything for our move in the coming months. A very pleasant young woman assisted us, willing to help and answering all our questions kindly. However, her office colleague, without being part of the conversation, interrupted and said that they couldn't rent us a one-bedroom apartment because we have a baby—a one-year-old baby who has slept in our room since birth. The young woman who was assisting us was as surprised as we were and tried to continue showing us the apartments we were interested in, clearly embarrassed and unsure how to react to what her colleague had just said. I turned to the person who interrupted us, looking for an explanation, or at least a reason for this decision, but she simply replied, "That's just how things are," which was unprofessional, insensitive, and unethical. It's as if they wanted to charge me an extra tax of almost $200 a month for moving into their complex with a baby. No thank you. Unfortunately, I can't give this person's name, but my wife and I were so indignant that we immediately got up and left. These people need to learn how to treat customers and not just sit at their desks selling leases. My recommendation: if you go to this place with a baby, be aware that their "baby tax" is higher than what they might charge for pets.

  I would love to leave a positive review, but unfortunately that was not our experience. My husband, my baby, and I went to the office looking for an apartment. We were greeted by a young woman who was attentive and kind, and everything was going well until one of her coworkers, who was sitting directly in front of her, interrupted our conversation and intrusively stated that they could not lease us a one-bedroom apartment, but only a two-bedroom one because we have a baby. We were in shock. At that moment, I considered asking her to provide a document supporting her statement, but instead we felt so offended and indignant that we decided to leave immediately. I consider this a total lack of respect—not only toward us, but also toward her coworker, who was being polite and professional. This woman interrupted the conversation and made an unfounded comment, as she did not show us any document or policy stating that this was an internal rule of the apartment complex or anything similar. It was also a clear lack of respect toward us as potential clients. It is absurd to say that we must rent a two-bedroom apartment simply because we have a baby—our baby sleeps right next to us. I do not want to assume this was discrimination, but it certainly felt that way.
