  I lived in Huning Castle from June 20, 2025 until October 16, 2025. I was extremely happy I could get out of the lease. this apartment was nothing as I thought. I thought luxury meant luxury even though they were kind to me, I did not vet this place well. I was not allowed to see the apartment until about 10 or 12 days before I was to move in. I had already given notice where I lived. I had no choice. I had no idea the noise level outside was going to be unbearable. I have a service dog because I can’t hear well. my dog got so anxious which is why I had to move. She wouldn’t go out on the porch. She stayed in my dark room. Also it was not luxury. There were no handles on any of the cabinets. There were not soft closes. I could go on and on and complain but that’s not the point. It did take a long time to get things handled although that’s not their experience. I paid over $10,000 to get the apartment to what I needed. that was OK because that’s what I needed to do although when I moved out the next person would be able to live with all of that. I guess I grew up with luxury so I had a different definition of luxury. the oven, refrigerator and dishwasher were not luxury! My experience: every time I close the freezer ice fell. I’m not going to keep complaining, I’ll just say if you’re gonna live there make sure you Vet well make sure you see the apartment you’re gonna move into way before no matter what they say. maintenance is subpar they are very kind though. I put in different fixtures in the bathroom and the kitchen although I did pay. everything else felt pretty cheap I would not recommend this place. It felt like a nursing home a lot of the time. I was very happy that they allowed me to break my lease although I did have to pay the breakout fee of $4500. I was happy to do that just to get out. I now live in Griegos Farms which is gorgeous silent and in the north Valley. (There was a smell in the hallways that’s horrible). . My friends had no idea why I moved there. Oh well what to do. I learned and got experience! One other thing. There is a bank across the street that had its lights on all night. Way to bright!

  I have lived in several apartment complexes around ABQ, and Huning Castle is by far the best. I'm coming up on my 3rd year, which is the longest I've ever stayed in one apartment, and I am so happy with everything. The grounds are beautiful, maintence is on top of every request, management is friendly and attentive, and, most importantly, it's so quiet. The building is built beautifully. (I truly questioned if I had neighbors for the first year because I never heard the people next to me.) I highly reccommend Huning Castle. You get what you pay for, and it's worth every penny!
