I cannot say enough amazing things about Barclay Glen community! From day one, the experience has been nothing short of exceptional. The staff is truly the heart of this property — they are professional, welcoming, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make residents feel valued and heard. Every interaction feels genuine, and you can tell they truly care about the people who live here.
Maintenance is top-tier. Requests are handled quickly, efficiently, and with a positive attitude. The team is knowledgeable, respectful of your space, and always leaves everything clean and in perfect condition. It gives so much peace of mind knowing that if something needs attention, it will be taken care of promptly.
The upkeep of the community is outstanding. The grounds are beautifully maintained year-round, common areas are spotless, and there’s clear attention to detail everywhere you look. It always feels clean, safe, and well-managed.
I’m especially impressed with how the community handles inclement weather. Whether it’s snow, heavy rain, or storms, the team is proactive and organized. Walkways and parking areas are cleared quickly, communication is clear and timely, and resident safety is obviously a top priority. That level of preparedness really sets this property apart.
Overall, this is more than just an apartment — it truly feels like home. The location is fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the management team makes living here such a positive experience. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a place that combines comfort, professionalism, and genuine care for its residents.

I’m honestly disappointed with the condition of my community. There is dog waste all over the property, and SOME pet owners are not cleaning up after their dogs. It seems like some people use snow as an excuse, but snow doesn’t make the problem disappear, it just hides it temporarily. When it melts, the entire community is left looking and smelling disgusting.
There are waste stations available, so there’s really no excuse. This isn’t just unpleasant; it’s unsanitary and disrespectful to other residents who pay to live in a clean environment.
Management needs to enforce pet policies more strictly, and residents need to take responsibility. Snow or no snow, basic cleanliness shouldn’t be optional.
I’ve lived at Barclay Glen since May 2017. From the moment I spoke to Andrea (property manager) I was sold. She was then and has always been very kind and sympathetic as well as empathetic to the needs of tenants while remaining the consummate professional . I am a Federal Officer and have unfortunately have had to navigate through three government shutdowns since October 2025. Andrea has always been understanding and compassionate to this difficult time for me and has assured me that I can pay the rent whenever the government reopens and funding is restored. Andrea is truly a God Send and Merion is very fortunate to have her.
Natalay, she is one of the newer members to the staff as assistant property manager, I have had a few interactions with her and she is very pleasant and professional. I must admit I was sort of standoffish when I initially met her as I am so used to Andrea, but I’ve quickly grown fond of her.
Tabitha, I absolutely loooooove Tabitha, she is always upbeat and always has a smile on her face. She is very professional and I couldn’t ask for a better person to interact with. My Daughter. Whom lives in North Carolina loves her to as she has spoken to her (looking for me because I didn’t answer my phone as fast as she would have liked) a time or two.
The maintenance staff is AWESOME!!! Second to none!! Always professional and approachable. Great job guys!!
Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful property that is well kept with beautiful modern apartments and an even more beautiful staff, this is the place for you. You will always know that you matter and your experience living here is a fantastic one.

I absolutely love living here! The staff is incredibly friendly, professional, and always willing to help with anything you need. They truly go above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and taken care of. The community grounds are also beautifully maintained — everything is clean, well-kept, and inviting. It’s clear that they take pride in the property. I highly recommend this apartment community. Living in a garage apartment feels like a home without any maintenance responsibility.

I am extremely disappointed with the current condition and management of this apartment complex. For a property charging over $3,000 per month in rent, the level of cleanliness and responsiveness is completely unacceptable.
The grounds are consistently dirty, and there is dog waste left throughout the property. This is not a rare occurrence — it’s an ongoing issue. Residents should not have to dodge piles of dog waste while paying luxury-level rent. Proper maintenance and enforcement of pet policies should be a basic standard at this price point.
What’s even more frustrating is that there have been multiple complaints from tenants regarding these concerns, yet little to no action has been taken. Communication feels one-sided. Residents raise issues, and management either dismisses them or fails to follow through. It creates the impression that tenant concerns simply do not matter.
Since the new ownership took over, the overall experience has declined even further. Instead of improvements, the property feels neglected. When you are paying premium rent, you expect professional management, clean and well-maintained grounds, and leadership that listens to its residents.
At $3,000+ per month, tenants deserve accountability, responsiveness, and basic upkeep — not excuses and silence.
I hope management takes these concerns seriously and begins treating residents with the respect and attention that this price point demands.
