So my boyfriend lives there and I’m there quite often. This place is always clean or someone is always cleaning it. The most impressive thing there is the maintenance team. They are so friendly and courteous. My boyfriend had an issue in the apartment one time and left a message for maintenance. Not even 10 minutes later 2 maintenance guys were already knocking on the door. A shorter Spanish gentleman and a taller black gentleman who I believe his name was Lovell. They were both very nice and fixed the problem with quickness. Upon leaving the apartment, they assured us that the problem was fixed and that if the problem reoccurred, to call back and they would not hesitate to come back and fix it.
I wish my apartment complex had the same quality maintenance people. Life would be so much happier. Kudos to Station Bay.

I’m extremely disappointed with the management at Station Bay. Over the past few years, the overall quality of living has noticeably declined.
Maintenance requests consistently take far too long to be addressed, which is frustrating for residents who depend on timely repairs. In addition, many of the amenities — which are advertised as luxury — are visibly falling apart and not being properly maintained.
Amenity access has also been reduced significantly over the last three years. The hours have been cut repeatedly, making it increasingly difficult for residents to use facilities that are included in the rent. The new movie theater room is a perfect example: what used to be first-come, first-served now requires advance booking, and residents need someone from management to physically open the door. This makes the amenity inconvenient and discourages people from using it. Meanwhile, the management office is frequently closed for holidays, snowstorms, or other reasons, which makes access and assistance even more difficult.
The heated pool — which is advertised as a key feature of the building — is rarely actually heated. The heater seems to be broken year after year, making the pool unusable for long periods of time. It’s frustrating to see this amenity promoted while it is consistently not functioning as advertised.
We also used to have 24/7 access to a coffee machine, which was a small but appreciated perk. Now, it is only available when the management office is open, and even then, it is often out of service. This is another example of amenities becoming more restricted and less reliable over time.
On top of that, essential building infrastructure is unreliable. Elevators and garage doors are frequently broken for days at a time, creating major inconvenience for residents and further highlighting the lack of timely maintenance and proper upkeep.
Another major issue is the water bill. We were initially told it would be around $30 for a one-bedroom unit, but in reality it is closer to $80. Each time an explanation is requested, management is dismissive, provides no clear breakdown, and is often rude in their responses. This lack of transparency and professionalism is extremely concerning.
Another concern is the overall perception among residents. Many people I have personally spoken with in the building share the same frustrations and are unhappy with how things have been managed since the recent leadership changes. Because of this disconnect between resident experiences and the online ratings, it genuinely makes me question the authenticity of some of the overly positive reviews.
Overall, the amenities are becoming less and less accessible while rules continue to increase and service quality continues to decline. For a property that promotes luxury living, the current management, maintenance response times, reduced amenity access, unreliable infrastructure, and lack of transparency on billing do not reflect the level of service residents are paying for.
