I would strongly recommend NOT living at this property. When I moved in two years ago, it was decent, but now it has become, in my experience, dirty, unsafe, and poorly managed.
The cleanliness of the community is terrible. Dog waste is often left all over the property—sometimes even inside the buildings—and the stairwells regularly smell of urine. Garbage rooms are overflowing at least 75% of the time, spreading odors throughout the hallways. The dog park is rarely maintained, smells awful, and is littered with waste and clumps of fur from residents brushing their dogs and leaving the mess behind.
Safety and management are just as concerning. The garage is full of unauthorized cars, including people parking in residents’ paid spots, and management requires approval before any tow is allowed. Instead of installing a license plate entry system, they rely on emails that repeat the same message without solving the problem. Residents smoke in the garage, leaving cars smelling like an ashtray, and late-night parties are frequent—even on weeknights—around the dog park, the common room, and the firepits. Lawns get trashed, cars park illegally, and non-residents often use the amenities that paying residents are supposed to enjoy.
The amenities themselves are barely usable. The pool in the summer is overcrowded, rules are ignored, and guests are brought in freely, making it almost impossible to find a seat. The BBQ area is taken over all season by one resident without any enforcement. Other shared spaces are either broken or left dirty—like the one near the dog park, which is constantly covered in leftover food, attracting wild animals and making it unsafe at night.
Maintenance and utilities are equally frustrating. The garage leaks a paste-like substance onto cars when it rains, and nothing has been done about it. Summer electric bills can easily reach $500+ per month—even before NJ’s rate hikes—because the HVAC systems are so outdated they run nonstop yet still can’t cool apartments effectively. A PSEG technician confirmed the units are extremely inefficient. Package lockers are often broken, meaning deliveries sit for days, usually over weekends.
The leasing office personnel, in my experience, have been very rude and unhelpful. Most concerning, they are now holding my mail and refusing to allow me to pick it up, which is unacceptable.
Overall, this property has become filthy, unsafe, and poorly run. Between the constant trash, repeated police visits, broken amenities, inflated utility costs, hostile management practices, and lack of professionalism, I believe it is absolutely not worth the money. Save yourself the stress and live elsewhere.
