I lived at The Monarch for several years with no issues as a resident. Unfortunately, the move-out experience was extremely frustrating.
Management is slow, unresponsive, and shows little concern once they are still collecting rent. There is no flexibility or goodwill when circumstances change.
Read the lease terms very carefully before signing‼️‼️‼️.

I have really enjoyed living at The Monarch. I’ve been living here for two years now, and overall it has been a great experience. The community is beautiful, well maintained, and feels very welcoming.
It is also a safe property, which has been very important to me and has made me feel comfortable and at ease living here.
The maintenance team does a great job—they are responsive, professional, and keep everything in good condition. Any issues are handled in a timely manner, which makes living here stress-free.
I truly enjoy the atmosphere, the upkeep of the property, and the comfort of calling The Monarch my home. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to live.

When I first moved in, this building seemed great—nice pool, courtyards, and a kids’ room that was open 24/7. Since more families have moved in, management has gone in the opposite direction. Both courtyards (located by the gym and lounge) are now completely closed, even though they used to be accessible year-round. There’s no outdoor space inside the building anymore, and dogs aren’t even allowed—yet somehow no one is allowed to use it at all.
Marijuana smoking is rampant in the stairwells, especially during the winter, and management does nothing about it. The smoke travels upward through the stairwell, making the 3rd and 4th floors unbearable. On one occasion, it was so severe that the smoke entered our apartment through the bathroom vents. Our baby inhaled it, began coughing violently, vomited, and showed clear signs of distress, as if her lungs were burning. The complete disregard for residents’ health—especially infants—is unacceptable. I have a video but cant share on reviews
The kids’ room, which used to be open all the time, now closes at 10 p.m., as if all children magically follow schedules. Parents who work nights or have infants and toddlers with extra energy are simply ignored. On top of that, management aggressively polices parents—something that feels uncomfortably selective.
The worst incident was during a medical emergency. Our 10-month-old baby had her first severe coughing episode in the middle of the night. We were preparing to rush her to the ER, so my husband briefly parked in visitor parking in case we had to leave again. By 7 a.m., as we were heading to the pediatrician, our car was towed without any warning—despite the parking lot being completely empty. We were forced to take an Uber with a sick infant, while my husband paid nearly $400 to retrieve the car. The complete lack of empathy, flexibility, or basic humanity says everything about how this building is managed.
But the neighbors are nice and staff maintains cleanliness. Concierge is super nice.

I have been a resident at The Monarch for nearly 3 years. During this time, I always paid my rent on time and complied with all community rules. However, my experience during the move-out process has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
Due to a work relocation, I had to move out of state. Despite providing 2 months' notice and fully vacating the apartment in mid-November 2025, I am still being forced to pay full rent for an empty unit because my lease runs until April 2026. While I understand lease obligations, the management's lack of effort to re-rent the unit is alarming.
While I am paying for my vacant unit, I see on their website that they are listing other similar units in the building for lower prices than mine. This makes it impossible for my unit to be re-rented, effectively forcing me to keep paying indefinitely. They claim demand is low, yet advertise "Last Unit Left" to attract new people.
Even though I have vacated the property and returned my keys and transponders, they continue to charge me for "Additional Rent" items like the second parking space and amenity fees. I am paying for a gym and a parking spot I cannot physically access.
Management has shown zero willingness to negotiate or offer a reasonable buyout option that doesn't involve excessive penalties, unlike standard practices in other luxury communities.
I strongly advise prospective tenants to review the lease terms carefully, especially regarding early termination and job relocation clauses. Once you sign, do not expect any cooperation or goodwill from management if your life circumstances change.
