- RSRelaxing SoundsDec 29, 20251.0LET ME JUST SAY IF YOU ARE LIVING IN AN INCOME BASED APARTMENT THAT MEAN YOUR JOB ISNT PAYING ENOUGH FOR U TO LIVE OR MEDICAL REASON SO TO CHARGE YOUR INCOME BASED RESIDENCE WHO ARE ONLY MAKE 16hr 1500$ IS IN RENT AND WAY MORE IN UTILITIES IS A BIG RIP OFF AND IT SHOULD BE ILLEGAL! Rent is getting crazy high just for a 2 bd it’s 1500$ and it’s supposed to be income based but it’s impossible with how much they’re charging a month just the light and gas bill alone is almost 500$ each, no updated appliances, no new nothing every few months it’s getting raised it’s impossible to afford especially for people who are on housing you’re basically still paying full rent. If your raising rent 100 everytime it should come with upgraded appliances it’s a rip off these townhomes aren’t worth 1500$ at all and it’s crazy how these companies are allowed to get over on people who are literally just trying to find a way to live u can’t afford anything with these bills being this high with no upgrades or anything it should be illegal but that’s our life now right 80hr and still not be able to afford food cause income based apartment or just regular apartment buildings are over charging you and wonder why we need help in the first place.

My main concern revolves around the 'income restricted' opportunities that were advertised. As a low-income family, we were really hopeful that this would be a viable option for us. However, in practice, it felt like there was a significant disconnect between what was presented and the actual process or treatment received. It left me feeling as though the initial information might have been a bit misleading. Furthermore, I was under the impression that there would be more support or a willingness to work collaboratively with applicants in our situation. Unfortunately, that wasn't my experience, and it's quite a letdown when expectations aren't met. I genuinely believe there's room for improvement in clarifying these aspects for future applicants.
