I love our apartment! My partner and I rent a 2bed/2ba on the first floor of our building. We've lived here 9 months, so we've experienced both winter and summer here, and I am extremely happy with the central air conditioning and heating.
The washer and dryer in my unit were BRAND NEW and so was the carpet. I will admit it's kind of cheap carpet, but it's good enough to sit on the floor comfortably - it's got just enough cushion. I vacuum regularly cause I have a cat and the carpet has stayed in great condition.
My apartment has incredibly smart and efficient storage space. It's SO QUIET once I'm inside my apartment. You can hear people passing in the hallway, but that's it. I genuinely feel so safe living here. It's so quiet, you can open your sliding glass door to your balcony and just listen to the birds.
I take a walk almost everyday around the property. It's a BEAUTIFUL property - you just gotta watch out for dog poop in the grassy areas, because there are residents who do not clean up after their pets.
There have been minor annoyances living here, but they are WORTH living here. I absolutely respect the team working in the leasing office - Liz, Sandy, and Darren. I have had extreme success in getting my problems solved by just going into the leasing office as opposed to calling on the phone. For example, one time there was dog poop in the elevator. I went to the office and they handled it right away. They also have some kind of doggy-ID program that allows them to identify whose dog made the mess and fine them appropriately, which makes me feel good that they don't just let that kinda thing go.
I think some of these negative reviews could've been more positive if the writers had made more of an effort to communicate to the leasing office. In my experience, the sooner the leasing office knows about what's going on, it gets handled ASAP. I am extremely open in my communication with them and they have not once let me down.
The maintenance guys Craig and Aaron are both extremely reliable and are good at what they do, too.
I used to live at a Lund property and the Lund management felt straight-up predatory. I am having a COMPLETELY BETTER EXPERIENCE at Embassy. They have an on-site gym with a bunch of weight machines, and I make use of it. During the summer they open the saltwater pool, and I LOVED that pool this past summer. Hopefully next summer they maintain it a bit better, because there were often leaves in the pool (I went almost every day), but I still loved that dang pool lol.
The biggest concern about living here is the package thievery. I used to get my Amazon orders delivered here, until two of them were stolen. And they were stolen INSTANTLY. Like, right after I got the delivery notification, I went downstairs to get it and it was already gone. But honestly? It's way easier to pick up my Amazon orders at the Amazon counter at Whole Foods, which is 5 min down the street. I've been doing that for months now.
I'm giving Embassy Park 5 stars because I feel like the management team is doing the best they can, and their best is more than enough for me as a resident. They're thoughtful and always leave announcements on people's doors if the water needs to be shut off or anything. I feel safe here, I feel like they genuinely care about my experience here, and I LOVE THE LOCATION. It's so close to Trader Joe's and the mall and my pharmacy and HyVee and the highway.
Until it's time for me to leave Omaha, I am DEFINITELY staying at Embassy Park. I have toured MANY apartments in this area, and this place is the best bang for your buck, and it's one of the higher quality places I've found at this price point. I definitely recommend this apartment complex!
