  Tim manages property poorly and maintenance requests. I put a work order in to replace a front door over a year ago at a HOA property he is board member to. I guess he cant figure out how doors are installed.

  I would never rent a property from Tim Canady. My boyfriend and I recently went to tour one of the rental properties he manages and he was incredibly rude and disrespectful to us. We brought our own real estate agent with us to help us with the process and upon walking into the rental, we were not greeted by Tim. He was on his phone, barely looked up at us and told us to go ahead and view the house. Im not sure if he was irritated we also brought our agent or if he was judging us based on looks/age. As we looked around, we had a few questions, and Tim who manages the property for the owners, seemed irritated and got defensive over some of our question. Not to mention, I asked him about the pet policy, seeing as I have two dogs and one of them is a certified ESA pet. When I mentioned this to him he laughed and stated that “ESA doesn’t really count because they’re not officially trained.” I explained to him that my therapist had written this letter stating my dog is in fact an ESA and that any rental company that tries denying me can go against the Fair Housing Act. He barely would let me talk and was argumentative over my pet being an ESA- insinuating he would not comply with my therapist’s letter and the fact she is registered as an ESA. I felt discriminated against and felt that Tim stereotyped my boyfriend and I as we walked through the front door. We were very serious about renting this home but threw the application away once we left due to how poorly we were treated by Tim. Our agent could not believe how unprofessional and rude he was and mentioned going to the board about him. Well thanks Tim, you actually made it easier for us to eliminate a property because we know we will never want to waste our time, and money with you when we feel we will not be respected as tenants.

  Tim - "Presumed that I could not afford the rent" because I attempted to negotiate a lower amount. Very unprofessional.
