  Our project manager Joe Fisher is the best in North Carolina to us. He kept us updated on the progress of our home and responded promptly to questions or concerns about our house. Joe is personable and knowledgeable about details that we need to know in being first-time home buyers. Joe went beyond building a house, he built us a home. We greatly appreciate Joe for his dedication, professionalism, and the relationship he built with us. Joe deserved a raise. 😊He made our first experience great.

  Kristian is the best! Took the time to answer all our questions and explain things in depth if there was something confusing. Also did not give up to try and make sure our expectations were met.

  My experience thus far as been a good one. Kristian has been working with us as we prepare to move into our new home. All of my questions have been answered promptly and the process thus far has been smooth. Today we had our first meeting just before building starts and we are very excited to be new home owners.

  Edit- One year living in my Ryan home and my main issue is the HOA - Hollybrook Associate Inc, ran by Fred Smith. Where do I begin?? I've gotten so many HOA notice of violations that it is unreal. Cars cannot be parked on the street yet cars are always parked on the street throughout the community especially on the weekends when family and friends are visiting, yet I get a notification when my son was over helping me recover from an illness and I was unaware he was parking on the street. I corrected that. EVERYONE in my life now knows not to park on the street yet I get a notification recently about a red Honda Accord parked outside my house and I was threatened with a violation. I have no idea whose car that was. So if a car is parked in close proximity to your home you get the violation?? I protest the violation and some kind of hearing was set up. Then there is the issue of trees and bushes that were planted behind my house by the developers. I asked during my walkthrough who was responsible for this area since there was also straw layered around the entire area. I was told that the tree line was required by the Town of Wendell and therefore the HOA would manage that area. Instead, last summer I get a violation notice for excess growth. When I inquired I was told that I was responsible, which is fine but I got two different answers to the question. After I made the inquiry a lawn crew was behind my house weed eating and putting down straw. I'm still confused because I never hire anyone. It been stressful to get these threats and then you have to take the time to respond and attend hearings. I can only imagine what it's going to be like when the club house Is opened. Every move residents make will generate a violation letter. My experience thus far has been excellent dealing with the staff at The Glen at Hollybrook. Kristain was extremely welcoming and professional. Very easy to talk to. He communicated well with me through our initial meeting and while giving me a tour of several homes already constructed. I made the decision to purchase with Ryan Homes after my very first tour. This is because the home itself (The Cedar) is very well made and the layout is so thoughtful. The location of the subdivision, the future amenities, sidewalks on both sides of the street, all are things that appealed to me. I am also a licensed real estate broker, so I see a lot of homes in similar price points, and Ryan homes really impressed me. I am looking forward to moving into my new home.
