- CRCori ReeseDec 24, 20251.0I just saw that Hayden left a review about MOLD. I was wrongfully EVICTED March of last year because I stopped paying rent because they wouldn’t fix my mold problem. When I moved in February of 2023, I had a newborn baby. I contacted them to fix the mold, they didn’t. My child started to get sick. I ended up having to move out of the apartment August that same year. I paid rent until December even though I didn’t reside in the unit. I called code enforcement and even the health department. No one helped. I stopped paying rent, I even called the property management to figure out what we should do, and they said that I had to pay them 2x rent to be released from the unit/lease… ALL while having mold. I went in person one day and the woman sitting at the desk told me “you have court on Tuesday.” It was a SATURDAY, and I wasn’t notified. I didn’t get a phone call, I didn’t have time for a lawyer, I didn’t even receive an email. The knew that I didn’t live at the unit. Come the court date, of course I’m ill prepared. I explained to the judge that I wasn’t notified, the landlord proceeds to say “we put a notice on the door.” I looked at the judge and said “all due respect your honor, how am I supposed to see that if I haven’t lived in the unit for over six months?” I told him I left because of mold and they wouldn’t help me. The landlord said “she never mentioned mold.” Their attorney said “you didn’t place a work order for mold, she provided me all your work orders.” So I asked the judge if I could log into the portal in front of him to show him that I wasn’t lying. He granted me permission. He saw the mold complaint, I showed him pictures of my child’s face, pictures and videos of the mold in the unit (also, the mold coming out of the faucets), and even played him calls between code enforcement/the health department and I. Not only did they LIE. They didn’t properly serve me, which violates the SCRA for active duty soldiers, they again LIED saying I wasn’t active duty. The judge ruled in favor of them! They were in the parking lot laughing thinking everything was a joke when my children’s health was at risk. Why would I allow my 2yo and newborn reside in that? DO NOT LIVE HERE!! They have ruined my rental history! Attached is the difference of my child being in the unit and when he wasn’t !!!

- ARAnita ReynoldsSep 29, 20255.0I didn't personally live here but a friend of mine did and I was impressed when I visited. The apartments are nice, affordable and the staff was very polite. Matter of fact, my friend had a maintenence issue and the gentleman that came out, Zack was very friendly, quick to respond and explained what he was doing along the way. If I ever move to NC, I would definitely consider these apartments.
