  Scott at the Shelby, North Carolina sold us a mobile home to be placed on a wooded area of land that we had purchased in South Carolina. He managed the entire project from clearing the land, dealing with the permits including septic, gas, water, power. When we arrived for the first time they had laid a nice gravel driveway and the area around the home had been cleared well. It was literally a perfect execution on the part of Clayton Homes and Scott, and we could not be happier.

  If I could give this location a 10 star rating I would! After dealing with another dealer for months and months, getting no where. We finally decided to switch to Clayton’s of Shelby. I reached out to Eddie and despite it being his day off and later in the evening. He still responded and reached back out first thing the next morning to get things started! Did the process take a while? Yes, but all good things come with time. Were there delays? Yes because contractors couldn’t make it out due to weather. This is to be expected with any home you purchase. One thing that was very consistent was the communication. Eddie would always answer my questions, no matter how many I had or how “ridiculous” they were. We have been in our home for a little over a month and haven’t had any major issues. A few cosmetics but Clayton’s was very quick to send someone out to adjust those for us. So if you are looking into buying a manufactured home I HIGHLY recommend Eddie at Clayton’s of Shelby.

  When I was ready to build a home, My son and daughter in law had used Daniel from Clayton of Shelby. He was so helpful right from the start. He kept me informed along the way of everything that was happening, which is extremely important to me. He was so accommodating and knowledgeable and got me the exact home I wanted and made the whole buying process easy and there was no stress and for that, I thank him. I recommend him to anyone who is looking to build a home. Shelby of Clayton is the place to go for your home building needs.

  My husband and I have had nothing but a wonderful experience working with Daniel on the purchase of our new home. We had a house fire over the summer and from the tear down crew to the company that delivered our home it has been such a positive experience. Everyone has been so nice and professional. If you or anyone you know are looking for a new home send them up to clayton in shelby. I can't thank everyone enough for how seamless this process has been. 10 out of 10 recommend!!!

  I’m so excited to see our new house. It’s been a really easy process compared to other places thanks to all the help Daniel has offered. Plus, he’s been so patient with us as first time buyers and helped us to get the best price as possible. Can’t wait to get it delivered. I’ll keep update it.
