I am not the easiest tenant in terms of decision making. Throughout my process of applying and deciding on a unit, Alex, Alyssa, Sarah, and Emily were not just patient with me, but kind and held no judgement for my inability to make a decision. The units are stunning, the property is serene with amenities that blow other properties out of the park. Along with my inability to make decisions, I have and always will, have some sort of road bump during my application process because I can’t follow simple directions 99% of the time. The leasing office staff happily and kindly walked me through the steps and assisted with my plethora of questions. I have had a few maintenance requests for my thermostat, as I am not technically advanced. The maintenance team was at my unit in no time, not only fixed what I had accidentally reset, but walked me through how to use the app. The prices are phenomenal for what you get. At my previous complex, my rent had gone up substantially and in comparison, I am hardly paying anymore for double the space, I’m thrilled to be living somewhere that feels like home, and have kind neighbors, as well as staff, to come home to! I can’t recommend this property highly enough!
Unfortunately, the fire alarm goes off at least once a month. Typically due to a pipe burst. Historically, it’s gone off weekday mornings before 6am, evenings at 6pm, or on a Sunday afternoon, and it’s taken about 3-4 hours each time to turn off. Besides that the apartments are wonderful and the location is great. But the fire alarm issue is causing me have doubts about moving here.
I've been living here since November 2025 so it hasn't been too long. The ladies in the leasing office and maintenance guys are really kind and easy to work with. While I've enjoyed living here so far, there are some things to consider.
First: The fire alarm has gone off way too many times (from a pipe burst/false alarm/no fire) in the West and East building of the complex. While accidents happen - this has happened at least 7 times since I've moved-in between the two buildings. Once it went off between 8pm to 12am, another time at 6am from a pipe burst. If you work from home or leave your pets at home while you're at work - this is far from ideal.
Secondly: Despite the leasing office sending an email - there are a few members of the community who do not pick up after their dogs, so you'll see an ungodly amount of dog poop around the property despite there being two trash stations facing the street.
Third: There are clear structural issues with the building, for example there's been a loud metal sound coming from some sort of gasket that echos loudly through my shower drain and its pretty random when it happens, but it will happen for hours at a time. Talking to maintenance, it would take 2-3 days to fix. I'm not the only one who's had this same issue.
Apartments are tiny with NY prices including $50 fee per car to park a month !
