Have had terrible experience after terrible experience. Link has currently implemented an annual week-long fire alarm testing. This is damaging myself and my neighbor's hearing. It goes off for the entire day, about once every hour. The animals in the building are completely overwhelmed and stressed out. I feel so terrible for the small children and newborns in the building. It is so excessive, they are entering every unit without proper warning. The alarm can be heard from behind the gramercy building... On top of that, they have charged me pet rent for my service animal the first year, are unable to enjoy the pool with the never-ending construction, the first day I transferred into my new unit my door was off the hinges and busted (when maintenance attempted to fix it TWO MONTHS LATER, they did not schedule a time and knocked unannounced). Absolutely love the location but there are too many cons. This will be my final year here.

One would think with a rent of $2400.00 a month and advertised as gated and secured parking, that a property would take appropriate action, over the last few months with many vehicles being broken into numerous times. Again on the morning of 7/20/23 twenty three vehicles broken into and yes two of ours were broken into randomly chosen as they were not parked side by side, and breaking multiple windows in many cars, guess one window is just not enough and rummaged through. You would think management would step up there game for the residents, maybe hire security from12am to 6am, like so many other complexes in the area do. If you like trains, you're in the right place, just 150 yards from the track, and the conductor loves his horn while moving at a blazing speed of 3mph at 10.30ish at night and every morning at 5.20am. No need to set the alarm clock. Frustrated 😠... I am responding to your robotic answer from your corporate office. The trains are a distraction, and a work around. Sadly after the first breech of the suposedly secure perimeter and having many vehicles broken into just a few weeks back and knowing where the entry into the garage was gained, you failed to take appropriate precautions. Management failed to correct the flaw of a short gate that is hopped over, and it happens again. Do you realize how much time, money, rental car, and insurance claims made, and other out of pocket expenses by the many tenants. Having two LEO live on site, means nothing, how that work out? Sadly you failing to act and make appropiate corrections after the first time this happened, and the dozens of vehicles broken into, you wouldnt have so many residents be upset. Refusing to speak to reporters or hanging up on them, does not look 🤔 good on your end either..Location is great, safe and secure needs big time work !!!

RPM Lisa A. at Grubb Properties is the only competent person related to the Link Apartments. All of the other staff members are either flat-out super rude or fake nice until the second you leave the room. Cockroaches galore no matter how many times pesticide comes. The neighboring walls are super thin and the Link staff did not do anything to help when the girl above me would scream all night long at her boyfriend every night. The Link claims they have a courtesy officer available 24/7, but this position does not exist anymore. The pool area is positioned perfectly to be blocked by the building and never have sun on it. Save yourself a million headaches and just don't live here. Definitely not worth the price.

Looking for a new apartment can be overwhelming, and stressful as todays market has too many options. Due to the current pandemic viewing apartments was a little more challenging as most required appointments and stricter touring rules. After calling and scheduling an appointment to view some apartments we were "linked" with Ashley Grady. From the moment we walked in the building this woman had a smile on her face. Even with her awful not so trendy mask covering her pearly whites she spoke clearly , and answered all questions about the community. Even after going back twice to tour again, and ensure it was the right choice she was able to uncover an additional option that exceeded my expectations. Its not every day you have a leasing office listen to wants, and exhaust all resources to deliver. Suddenly just when I was about to sign a lease elsewhere she remembered that someone was soon moving out and their apartment checked all boxes on the wants. Being knowledgeable about who is moving and when is important for future residents to fill their old apartments especially floor plans that do not become available monthly. I would highly recommend touring the Link , and asking for Ashley to get the same great experience I did.

Read the fine print in the lease. They make tenant's pay for 90 days for early lease end (circumstances and jobs sometimes change) and make no effort to mitigate even when they have a wait list.
