- GWGlenn WalterSep 20, 20255.0Our experience with purchasing a new Ryan home was wonderful. We are relocation to the Wilmington area and this community is exactly what we are looking for. Nico made everything easy and fully explained the community as well as the building process. We appreciated his ability to be intuitive and guide us in selecting our options and additions for the future, such as additional outlets, prewires and upgrades. Nico is very knowledgeable and friendly. He answered all our questions and was quick to understand our lifestyle and personalities to better help us with our selections. He was very patient and went above and beyond to insure we were comfortable with our choices. Shout out to Lindsey as well who was also very helpful with explaining the options. She also took the time to educate us with the attractions in the Wilmington area. We have built new homes in the past and this was by far the easiest. Ryan Homes offers great design selections and floorpans. The Lakes at Riverbend is a pleasant community with great amenities. We are looking forward to being part of the neighborhood.

From sales agent Lindsey who went above and beyond to help me buying the house and she still keeps me posted through every step of the process. The mortgage group was also very helpful. I just met my general contractor James and he is going to take pictures of every step of the build and put them on an app for viewing. I am excited to see the pool and clubhouse finished they look amazing. I hope to be in my house in November. It is great to know there are still people who care. Doing all this from another state makes it challenging.

- BTBryan ThompsonJul 25, 20251.0I wish I had read the reviews before buying from Ryan Homes. I understand people complain about a lot, and it’s hard to get things perfect in the world we live in. I did expect a better experience with my grading and warranty complaints with water. My back yard and side yard are standing in water or stays very soggy for days after a rain storm. Several of the buildings on my street have the same issue. The response from the warranty group so far has been nothing but excuses, from the water is not visibly standing the next day and it must be visible for 48 hours after a rain event, even though my foot will sink in the grass a good inch because it stays soggy. Another explanation was the sprinkler system was going for too long. They cut those back but it still looks about the same. All in all I would not recommend buying from this group.
- CBChris BJul 23, 20255.0Sales process was very smooth from the first interaction. My sales person Heather Reese went as far as to do several videos for me as I was an out of town buyer. One of the community as well as another showing me what the drive / commute would be like from downtown. She was always readily available to answer all of my questions in a timely manner and with great detail. No stone went unturned. As for mortgage and construction Brian Gift and James Johnson also did a stand up job. If you are actively looking for a new home, whether it be in the Wilmington, or Brunswick County I can attest that Heather will take great care of you rather in person or virtually.
