Within weeks of moving in, I was dealing with flooding inside the house. Yes, actual flooding in a brand-new home. Water seeping into the floor, the ceiling below it, even shorting out electrical outlets. No exaggeration: I had to bring in industrial blowers and dehumidifiers just to avoid mold. And that’s just the beginning. The attic has visible structural issues: cracked beams, loose trusses, improperly connected supports. The HVAC system? A joke. Some rooms barely get any airflow while others feel like a sauna. The ductwork was visibly leaking, and they still refused to do the proper testing. Stairs creak, doors don’t latch, locks don’t work, outlets are dead, and light switches are miswired. One switch setup was so poorly done that I injured myself falling in the dark. Worst part? The customer service is a runaround. Delays, excuses, and radio silence. You’re basically on your own once you close. This isn’t just about small cosmetic defects, this is about serious issues that affect your safety, comfort, and wallet. The kind of stuff that makes you wonder how this even passed inspection. If you’re reading this and considering Pulte: hire your own inspector, record everything, and don’t assume anything will be done right. Honestly, if I could go back, I would’ve run the other way
