  Brian Miller went through all the details of the home. Insulation was a big concern for me. Double pane windows. Appliances, like HAVC, and heat. Even the thermostat was different. I just recieved my first utility bill and I was amazed. It's been very cold here the last 30 days. Angela was here almost every day before the home was delivered. Making sure the placement was correct, and the footers were put in right. They had power, and water lines marked. She is an amazing women. Everyday I would see her as I looked out my RV. Mr. Miller would usualy accompany her. I recieved phone calls from him asking it everything was good. He let me know of the delivery dates, on all aspects of the home. Thank you all!!! Karen Cagle

  My husband and I bought the Richfield farmhouse lot model we still had things that needed to be put in place so please keep this in mind when buying a home, even a lot model. Water, septic, electric, porches, grading and much more to make our home. Oakwood did an amazing job at providing our dream home. However, when buying a house, please make your expectation high but understand that Oakwood does everything in their power to get you in your home as soon as possible and delays do happen, there are more contractors than just the one person you see when you walk into Oakwood home of Fletcher. Speaking of the one person you see at Oakwood home of Fletcher, Emerson, specifically was a wonderful person to work with. Even in the beginning he was never pressuring us to buy and never swayed us one way or the other on any home we wanted to see/buy. We were given honest opinions from him and the truth. He was always kind, respectful and responsive. If we were to do this process all over again we would still choose him. He was there every step of the way with no hesitation to answer any of my (many) questions. He always had a smile on his face and celebrated the small wins with us along the way. We never lost faith that we would have a beautiful home to call our own because of Emerson's consistency. We are grateful to be in our home now and see all the hard work that has been put into place these last 9 months. No, the 9 months weren't all Oakwood, remember you have a financial company, contractors and the county you must deal with as well. With all of this said, our experience with Oakwood homes of Fletcher has been overwhelmingly pleasant due to Emerson. During some of our process we dealt with Brian Miller who was also a wonderful advocate for Oakwood and us to help the process move forward and understand a lot of the unforeseen circumstances. He stepped in as if we had been working with him the entire time, no hesitation or pushback. Brian was very welcoming and comforting. We would also like to mention Angela, the project manager who remained available for any question and when we needed assistance getting things done with the county, or other contractors she was able to handle anything that came her way seamlessly and professionally. We are very appreciative of the dedication that has gone into our home.   We had a great experience working with Oakwood Homes. From start to finish, the process was simple, well-organized, and clearly explained. The team was professional, responsive, and always willing to answer questions and walk us through each step. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and genuinely helpful, which made the entire experience much less stressful. We truly appreciated the communication and support throughout and would recommend Oakwood Homes to anyone looking for a straightforward and positive home-buying experience.

  100% recommend the staff at Oakwood Homes in Fletcher. Solid communication, and super knowledgeable folks. Tim made the purchase process smooth and simple, and Angela was an outstanding project manager. Could not imagine a much better home buying experience anywhere.
