UPDATE:
I was genuinely surprised by how quickly the team reached out after my initial review. Shortly after, communication improved significantly, and the appropriate teams coordinated with us to address our concerns.
The maintenance team came to our new home, thoroughly assessed the issues we raised, and fixed several of them during the visit. A few items will require follow-up, as they need to be handled by different specialty teams (for example, carpet-related concerns are managed separately), which was clearly explained to us.
Management and supervisors also followed up to make sure our concerns were acknowledged and properly documented. It was reassuring to feel heard and supported, especially after a stressful relocation and move-in experience.
We still have a few additional maintenance requests to submit, but overall, we are glad to see that things are now being handled appropriately and that there is a clear process moving forward. We appreciate the responsiveness and the efforts made by the team to address the issues.

We never had a good experience with this builder, and things became even more disappointing after we closed on the home.
We relocated from Hawaii to the mainland due to military orders, and because of our situation, our so-called “new home orientation” was conducted over the phone. We did not physically see the home until after closing, when we finally arrived in person. That was also the first time we ever saw our newly built home.
As soon as we began moving in, we immediately noticed multiple issues, including door alignment and locking problems that affect home security, as well as visible wear and damage that simply should not exist in a brand-new build. These concerns were identified right away and were clearly not caused by use or normal wear on our end.
What made the situation even more disappointing was the lack of support and accountability afterward. Once the paperwork was signed and the transaction was complete, communication became minimal and impersonal. Even on the day we arrived at the property for the first time, no one was there to welcome us, walk us through the home, or check in on our experience. It genuinely felt like we were left on our own the moment the sale was finalized.
We understand that warranty requests exist, but relying solely on warranty processes after the fact does not replace proper pre-move-in inspections, quality control, and customer care, especially for buyers relocating from out of state due to military service. Instead of feeling supported during such a major transition, we were left feeling overwhelmed, frustrated, and alone while trying to address issues that should have been identified before move-in.
Buying a home is one of the biggest financial and emotional investments a family makes. Unfortunately, this experience did not feel customer-focused, reassuring, or supportive. Based on our experience, this is not a builder we would recommend, particularly for military families or out-of-state buyers who depend heavily on clear communication and trust.

Beware!!!! Do not purchase from Ryan homes. Ryan homes is only concerned about Ryan homes. They will give you a false sense of security until you close on your home then they reveal their true colors. We have been in our home for less than 2 years and have been having plumbing issues. Our plumbing issues were so bad that we had to have our floors removed due to water damage. We have reached out to Ryan homes three times to discuss our concerns and have YET to receive a response back. At first, we believed our plumbing issues were an isolated event just to our home. We have now discovered that our neighbors have also had the same exact plumbing issues the culprit being the subcontractor that Ryan Home uses for plumbing. Ryan homes seem to only care about their quantity of work and not their quality. The same backs that Ryan homes are stepping on to turn a profit are the same ones they will need to support their business
