- QBQuay B4 days ago2.0Thus far I have had some positives but I’m not pleased with the experience after purchasing a home from Centex. Day 1 of moving into the house, we had a plumbing leak and the pendant lights in my kitchen are already falling out of the ceiling. Less than a week living in the home and we discover the dryer that comes with the appliance package does NOT turn on. Of course, the builder’s warranty does not cover that. And of course, the builder Thomas, who said I could still reach out to him post-closing has now ghosted, never to be heard from again now that we have closed. It more than seems that this builder throws homes up with little care, promises to keep in touch and right any wrongs but the real desire is to close and never deal with you again. All good. God bless.
