  There is a valet trash service of $25 added to rent whether we want it or not. Trash is picked up Sunday through Thursday after 5 pm. À trash can is provided and only one bag is allowed. Unfortunately the company managing this service is not very reliable. They did not collect the trash when it snowed, even though many people were on the road because the city is good about plowing and salting the roads. When it rains heavily and there is a flood “watch,” not a “warning,” they also don’t collect the trash. They could put snow tires or chains on the trucks when it snows. In the area where our complex is located flooding is really not an issue and the trucks are large enough that they are in no danger of being “swept away” by a few inches of water on the road! Also, if your trash can is not brought back inside by 9 am the next morning you will be fined $25. So in my opinion the valet service is not worth a dime, much less $25.

  I lived at Alden Place for a year and I enjoyed my time there. The leasing agents and staff are respectful and any time a maintenance request was entered, it was fixed within a reasonable amount of time. My only complaint would be no proper pest control. There is a valet pick-up, pet, and pest control bundle that renters pay monthly. I would often find that pest control only came quarterly which led me to randomly find bugs and other pests that were disturbing to see. I believe in grace and change, so hopefully this can be an easy fix!

  I dont care what the other reviews say, I love this place. The maintenance staff is wonderful and always answers. The office staff (Mary in particular) is fantastic. Dont let the reviews scare you away. This place is 10/10

  I don’t know. There are roaches a plenty and the previous review on here where they deny that is so messy of them. I’m not sure they even cleaned my apartment when I showed up to move in but I had no other options. They have not been helpful or willing to help in some situations. They are timely when you need things fixed but they don’t communicate well. A maintenance man just showed up without any warning, no knock and opened my place while I was there and he had a bad attitude about my being startled. As a single woman, that’s scary. They also need access to your apartment far more than I’ve experienced at other properties. I prefer to not have my dog caged up but it has happened often since living here and I find that frustrating. The model units look great but my apartment has many flaws some of which have the typical quick fix low quality work like painting over it makes it somehow not exist? Just know that before moving in. For what you pay, the quality is questionable.
