    Cheap place with lots of issues: in the middle of winter heat did not work for many days, there are weird bug flying around and WiFi is just the worse, so spotty and slow! And most of all the smell in these apartments is just awful. They smell like moldy basements and the smell will stick on you and on your clothes and on your stuff. It’s really bad!

    My experience living at Vivo Living was one of the worst housing situations I’ve ever dealt with, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anybody. To start, I had NO heat for an entire winter. Instead of actually fixing the problem, management handed out space heaters and acted like that was good enough. Meanwhile, water leaked from my bathroom and kitchen ceilings on multiple occasions, bad enough that they transferred me to another unit, just for the same issues to happen again. The apartment itself was a disaster. Outlets in the bathroom area didn’t work, and if you left too many things plugged in for too long, the power would randomly go out. On top of that, the building is so poorly managed that when the fire alarm goes off, the fire department has to physically come to the property to shut it off. I literally watched them break into the office after hours just to stop the alarm because nobody from management was around to handle it. There were also major bug issues, the pool was closed the entire summer, and the gym was almost always shut down. The environment wasn’t any better, neighbors fighting in the middle of the street, yelling at all hours of the night, and constant chaos. The only people who actually tried were maintenance. They did what they could with what they had, and I don’t blame them at all. The real issue is management. Their communication is terrible, they don’t follow up, and it feels like they don’t care about residents or the property. To top it all off, my lease ended on 9/30, and I didn’t get my $1,095 deposit back until the middle of November, and that was only after I threatened legal action. Completely unacceptable. The only positive thing about this place is the price $1,260 with cable, internet, and utilities included. That’s literally the only reason I moved in, because I needed something fast. But even that price is NOT worth the stress, poor conditions, and safety issues. Please stay far, far away from Vivo Living. I regret ever signing a lease there. This was a horrible experience from beginning to end.

    I’ve lived alone for the past seven years of my life and all apartments come with ups and downs! All I can say is Joan is the best apartment manager I have ever dealt with. Any issue I had she was attentive and made sure that it was fixed as soon as it could be! Everything can’t always be perfect but Joan strived to make it as best as she could for sure. Thank you Joan for being great!
