Tyler from the leasing team is very out going and approachable. He’s easygoing and is there to help!
The property is very unique and has a cool aesthetic!

This is my second year living at Junction 49, and it will absolutely be my last. In just two years, I’ve been moved between three different apartments for completely different reasons, which already says a lot about the lack of stability here.
During my first year, I woke up in the middle of the night to my apartment essentially turning into a river. A fire triggered the sprinkler system, and due to leaking pipes, water flooded the unit. What made it worse was management’s response — or lack of it. Despite the apartment being clearly unlivable, we were left there for days while construction was actively happening around us, with cabinets being ripped out and repairs happening in real time. It eventually became clear that management had simply forgotten to relocate us.
When I first moved in, the building wasn’t even fully finished, so we were placed in a temporary unit. That meant moving all of my belongings multiple times. It’s been constant disruption instead of a stable place to live.
The construction quality is also a serious issue. Every apartment I’ve been in has had noticeable gaps between the flooring and the walls, making it easy for bugs to get in. During the winter, expect ongoing ant problems, and in the spring, it turns into an influx of millipedes. It’s not occasional — it’s something you deal with regularly.
Security is another major concern. Despite claims of having security, break-ins still occur. My roommate had their car window smashed, and I’ve personally stopped bringing my car here because it simply doesn’t feel safe.
To be fair, not all of the issues come from management — a significant part of the problem is the residents themselves. The level of immaturity here is honestly unbelievable. These are supposed to be full-grown adults, yet the behavior reflects the complete opposite. There is constant littering, trash left in hallways, stairwells, and common areas, and visible damage to property that clearly comes from careless or destructive behavior.
It doesn’t feel like people take any responsibility for the space they live in. Instead of treating it like a shared living environment, many treat it like a temporary playground with no consequences. That kind of environment wears on you over time and makes it hard to feel comfortable in your own living space.
Meanwhile, management sends out frequent warnings about trash, parking, and pet waste, but nothing actually improves. The same issues persist with little to no visible enforcement, which only enables the behavior to continue.
Overall, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. For the price you pay, you expect a certain level of quality, safety, and management — and Junction 49 falls far short. Between the lack of proper management response and the behavior of residents, it’s not a place I would recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable or stable living environment.

Save yourself the trouble.. Don’t move here.. (Problem 1) Moved in August 21st, paid my first installment of $1840 for my one bedroom studio. Not once was I made aware that I would be expected to pay $1700 on the 1st of the following month (September). This caused me to pay over $3500 my first month of living at Junction49. This crippled my finances and when I brought it up there was nothing they could do about it.. Almost like they didn’t care. (Problem 2) My least started on the 15th of August but I didn’t obtain access to the unit the 21st of August. This falls under “Delivery Of Possession” which is a breach of contract but they refuse to prorate the days because they are student housing. (Problem 3) I have reached 9 months out of my 12 months lease and I still have no mailbox, it’s been like that since I’ve got here. Brought it to their attention multiple times and all I get is “ We’ll work on getting that handled “. The leasing agents are mostly cool but they can’t help with anything besides pass on messages, you have to get in touch with the community manager for any real help. The only good thing I found about this place was the Community Manager Named Rebecca, this lady was the only one who was concerned and tried her best to assist us with our problems, we were thankful to have her for the time she was here. Besides that the trash area gets messy, people leave trash in the staircase, key fobs work when they want to work, the fire alarm has went off at least 4-5 times no fire at all since I’ve been here, parking sucks, and there’s things in my apartment that still aren’t fixed. Don’t move here.

My roommates and I were given a walk in tour of building one and the amenities by Sam. We viewed a 4 bedroom 4 bathroom because that's what we were renting at our last student living apartment complex. The rooms seemed a little small, but livable and we loved the security of the apartment with the key fobs. During our tour, we were told about a free parking special that was being offered with only the 5 bedroom 5 bathroom units. We applied online the same day as our tour and had signed a lease within 2 days of applying. We called after signing the lease to confirm we still got the parking special and the agents in the leasing office told us yes. Come move in day, we had to sign a Parking Addendum in order to receive our parking pass. On the form, it said we still had to pay the $30/month. When we asked Deniia about the form, she said that it was a standard form that everyone had to sign and we would get an email saying we got the parking special. She assured us that it was just the standard form, so we signed it in order proceed with the move in process. After moving in, we received an email saying that the parking fee was due and it would be an upcharge if we were late at paying it. I emailed the leasing office about the parking special we were supposed to receive, I was told that the managers wouldn't be in until the Monday after 4th of July weekend and that we should just pay it now and the managers would fix it on Monday. We were given an email address to send a message to get our refund on the first months parking fee. Monday came around, we were told by the managers that there was no proof that we were supposed to get free parking and that the special had "ended" on May 27th so we shouldn't have been told about it. I explained our situation and they begrudgingly offered to refund our $150 telecom fee. I kept emailing about it because we were promised multiple times the free parking special, I was met with automatic replies and it seemed like they were ignoring my emails (they always take forever to reply, half the time, they don't reply at all). I found a post on their Instagram promoting the free parking special on June 5th and sent a screenshot of it with the date showing. I was told that they schedule their Instagram posts and that it was "just a picture". Finally, they gave in and gave me the parking special and refunded the first months fee.
The leasing agents are kind, but useless, and the managers are awful, they ignore issues and messages.
We started moving into our units, our roommates already in Room A and Room E were only made aware of us moving in 20 minutes before we entered the apartment. No one received an email with our roommates names and numbers, so no one was able to get to know each other before move in day. We emailed about that and the leasing office only told us since we moved in early, we weren't applicable for the roommate matching they offered (we just wanted to know their names and numbers).
I had to submit multiple maintenance requests upon moving in, aren't these apartments brand new?? My bedroom door didn't latch, so it was just left open until they came to fix it. There were poop stains in the toilet like my unit wasn't cleaned before I moved in. I found a loose tile under my bed that was never glued down. The fridge was leaking water onto our food on the shelves. When maintenance came to fix the fridge, they left out some of our food on the counter and it spoiled by the time anyone came home. The dishwasher was broken and the gasket had fallen off, my roommates that moved in a month before we did had been using the dishwasher as a drying rack since water was pulling in the bottom. The dryer doesn't dry our clothes all the way. The trash rooms are disgusting. Trash and food crumbs in the hallways, elevators, and parking garage.

Junction 49 is disgusting and not livable. Our air conditioning broke in January of 2026 and is still not fixed. I submitted a maintenance request for our apartments AC unit at the beginning of January, when it first broke. It is still not fixed, so I have submitted countless more requests and they were all marked as completed due to being duplicate requests. The first request only has two updates, "checking voltage on the roof" on January 6th and "Unit needs coil replacement. Coil being replaced under warranty, parts expected Friday or Monday" on February 19th. If someone came by on January 6th, I would like to know why the parts weren't ordered until February 19th, a whole month later? My roommates and I visited the leasing office and were told that the parts are on the way, but shipping wasn't expedited until March 2nd. I don't understand how they were expected to arrive the following Friday or Monday after the note on February 19th and they still are not here. The timeline here isn't adding up. We've had no communication or updates since February 19th and it's consistently 77-83° in the apartment. I work 40 hours a week and can not sleep through the night because of how hot it is in here. I have two cats who are also being affected by the heat. Our fan is consistently running and I'm sure it's causing our electric bill to be more expensive than usual. After visiting the leasing office multiple more times, we were given a temporary window ac unit for only the living room on March 4th. No updates since then and our bedrooms are still extremely hot.
