  I’m not one to leave bad reviews but signing a lease is long contract and I wish I knew the information below. I moved in January 8th so less than 4 weeks ago. Since then the fire alarm has gone off 6 times, two times at 2 am. The alarm is LOUD which is good if there is a real fire but not fun in the middle of the night. It has also gone off four other times some accidents and some for their testing as they are trying to fix the alarm. I bought earplugs which help a little but it’s not a fix. I am hopeful this will be solved but since it’s been a month am not too hopeful. Also in the 3 weeks I’ve lived here a car was stolen from behind the gate and a car was broken into. I wouldn’t mention this except the last couple of days the gate has been left open. All this being said this place has the potential to be great, the location is amazing, the apartments up to date. With there being a lot of apartments in Charlotte I would probably look elsewhere until they resolve the fire alarm and security issue.

  The Edge is one of the best apartments in South End. The building is packed with great amenities, and exceptionally well-managed. The leasing staff go above and beyond for residents. They communicate clearly, are always approachable, and genuinely take the time to listen. Their commitment is a huge part of why this place feels like a real community. If you have an issue come up, the leasing/maintenance team responds immediately. The location is another major plus. You’re right next to a beautiful neighborhood and park, while still having quick access to Harris Teeter, the Light Rail, and everything South End has to offer. It strikes the perfect balance between neighborhood comfort and city convenience. My experience here has been fantastic. The Edge’s mix of tangible perks and community feel is unmatched. 5/5 — highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to settle down in Charlotte.

  I applied here and was approved extremely fast all the staff are nice as well as the residents. The staff were very helpful with the entire process Candace & Molly are the best. If you’re thinking about moving to the south side definitely check us out!

  I have loved living here. It’s a great location and quieter than most. Walking to Harris Teeter is the best amenity any apartment can offer. Makes life so easy! Anytime something needed fixed (leaking sink, etc) it was fixed the next day! Very responsive

  I’ve lived at The Edge for about four years and have truly enjoyed my experience. The community is quiet, clean, and well-maintained, and the staff is always accommodating and quick to respond to any questions or needs. There are plenty of amenities available—my personal favorites are the pool and the gym. The location is also a major plus, with great walkability to restaurants, bars, and shopping. If you’re looking for comfortable, neighborhood-style living with convenience and charm, I highly recommend The Edge.
