Last year, we considered not renewing our lease, but thankfully, the management changed for the better. I absolutely love the current team—especially our community manager, Curtis! He is friendly, polite, never intimidating, and always willing to go the extra mile to help residents. I can personally attest to that, and many of my friends here have had the same positive experiences.
Jasmine, the maintenance team, and the rest of the staff are also incredibly friendly and approachable. My family truly enjoy living here. It feels safe, mostly clean, has great amenities, and we really appreciate the events and free treats.
Just one thing—there’s a dog park, but no dedicated play area for kids. Hopefully, the higher management will consider adding one. A lot of my friends who have lived here for years have been requesting it for a long time, but nothing has happened so far. So hopefully.
I have been a resident at Sycamore at Tyvola since 2020 and have always enjoyed the community, amenities, and convenient location.
While I did have some concerns over the past year, I’ve seen genuine efforts from the management to improve, and I truly appreciate that. They’ve taken steps to enhance the resident experience — from addressing issues more proactively to organizing community activities and sending regular email updates that help residents stay informed and engaged.
A special shout-out to Jasmine, who has been incredibly helpful and patient throughout my recent lease renewal process. She assisted us with professionalism and care, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free. Her support truly made a difference, and I appreciate it.
I feel valued as a resident and happy to continue living here.
We have lived at Sycamore at Tyvola for about 2 years now. We have been forced into having community WiFi here with our lease and it is the worst possible thing in the world. We pay $75/month for this service and it goes out almost weekly. My partner and I work from home and we get screwed constantly by the internet outages. We have been reporting issues for more than a year and a half and they still have not fixed the issue. Even with the new manager, they have done nothing. We have asked them to please void our monthly payment of $75 for an amenity that they are not upkeeping or maintaining. They have told us we will get a late fee if we don't pay for the WiFi. Cecelia, our old community manager was the exact same as our current community manager, Curtis Burton. Jasmine, one of the leasing agents, has been nothing but rude, disrespectful and insulting in this whole process. She has rolled her eyes at me, talked down to me, and has just been down-right disrespectful. Overall, if this is how they treat tenants that have paid rent on time every month, don't damage the unit, renew their lease multiple times, are quiet and mind their own business, I don't even want to know how they treat others who are in different situations. We will NOT be extending our lease here anymore. We also had someone break into our car, the pool is closed most of the year, they advertise a walking trail that they don't upkeep, the gym hasn't been cleaned in months, you can't email with anyone in the leasing office directly and they rarely answer their phones. They constantly have over half their units vacant since the new agency took over the property and we have watched countless neighbors move out in the last 6 months. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

Pleasant staff. Nice fitness center. Lovely fire pit at the pool. We only lived there for maybe a month. There was a strange aroma in the apartment that we couldn't get rid of. Plus there was moisture in the basement level apartment that resulted in mold growing on our furniture. My wife has a severe germ phobia, so we had no option but to move out early. We had to throw out most of what we owned due to the mold. We were told we would be contacted by the corporate office to resolve any unpaid balance for the apartment. 5 months later, we received our first correspondence, from a debt collector. So instead of communicating directly with us and working out arrangements, they sent the balance to a collection agency. We aren't happy at all with our attempted move to Charlotte nor with how things were handled upon our decision to move out. There was no need to send the debt to a collection agency. They could have contacted us directly.
April 25,2025 update. I reached out to the office staff to inquire why they chose to send our balance to collections without giving us an opportunity to pay it, or at least make arrangements
They responded by saying they called once and left a message. This of course was quite fictitious. No call. No message. No email. No text. No mail. No smoke signal. No Morse code. Zero communication. I honestly don't care how nice the neighborhood is. Go find somewhere else to live. Look at the other reviews, we aren't the only ones with a questionable experience.

Stopped by this property to look for a place for my move back to CLT. This place is awesome! The amenities looked great, the property was beautiful and best of all the staff was so welcoming! Thank you, Cecilia, Jasmine and Mikwon for making my choice so much easier!
