Working with Morgan Griffin was truly the best leasing experience I’ve ever had. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable and professional, but she also has a great sense of humor that made the entire process fun and surprisingly enjoyable. Morgan kept everything seamless and on track, but still managed to make me laugh throughout it all—which is not something you normally say about leasing real estate! She was proactive, responsive, and genuinely cared about making things easy for me from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend her enough!

I don’t live at this property, but my mother does, and I’ve watched the situation there change over time. When she first moved in, towing wasn’t an issue at all. Things only became a problem after new staff took over in the office, and since then towing has become a constant headache for her and other residents. The property advertises specials like “two months free,” but with how often cars are being towed now, any savings from those promotions can easily get eaten up by towing fees. It’s something future residents should be aware of when considering the true cost of living here. I’ve also noticed that the lower-rated reviews tend to come from actual residents dealing with these issues daily, while some of the 5-star reviews don’t seem to reflect what my mother and her neighbors experience. I’d definitely recommend reading the detailed resident reviews to get a realistic understanding before deciding.

A sincere commendation to LaMonte for demonstrating exceptional professionalism and composure during a challenging situation within the community. He took the initiative to clearly explain the unexpected towing activity and provided reassurance to both myself and fellow residents regarding the improved communication practices that will be implemented moving forward, especially in light of previous management’s shortcomings. Thank you, sir. Your dedication and efforts are truly appreciated, and your commitment to improving our community does not go unnoticed.

Okay here’s the REAL review THEY TOW THEIR RESIDENTS EVERY MONTH! .. Don’t let the pretty tours and the staged 5 star reviews fool you those reviews come from people visiting for the first time who have no idea what it’s actually like to live here. .. Yes, the community looks nice on the outside clean, secure, well-presented. But behind the scenes, the communication is terrible and the policies feel like traps. If you plan to live here, your car has to have current tags and be less than 10 years old (that’s literally in the lease). If not, they’ll boot or tow your car without hesitation. Same goes for your guests. One wrong detail and your car is gone before sunrise. What’s wild is they send emails every single day about food trucks, events, and trash pickup but somehow can’t notify residents about towing or give any warning. You only find out by reading the fine print like you’re negotiating a contract or by waking up to an empty parking space. In the world we’re living in right now, where people are doing everything they can to stay afloat, this place chooses to operate like a bully instead of a community. No grace, no respect, no loyalty to the people who pay to live here.

I am a resident at Story University North, and while I must say the environment is quite pleasant—perfect for anyone who values aesthetics—my main concern lies with how management handles issues. It often feels as though they operate on their own time, with little regard for the fact that residents also have responsibilities and busy lives. Recently, my car was wrongfully booted despite my vehicle information being on file. Now, my trailer—which was not parked on the property or even near it, but rather on a public commercial road—was authorized by the property manager to be towed by Hitch and Haul Towing. Initially, I reported my trailer as stolen, only to be informed by the police that it had actually been towed. When I contacted the towing company, they told me that Story University North had given them permission to tow it. This was confusing, considering that I had previously spoken with someone from the same towing company who explicitly stated that they do not tow vehicles parked on the commercial road. When I brought the matter to management, it took them more than a day to respond. I had to personally visit the office and call multiple times, only to be placed on hold for a long period before finally reaching the manager—who still asked me to wait. There seems to be no sense of urgency when it comes to addressing residents’ concerns. The property manager later stated that the towing company operates independently, despite the fact that he personally authorized the removal. As a result, I am now forced to pursue this matter through the courts for wrongful towing. I have no issue with following community rules and regulations; however, I do take issue when I feel mistreated or bullied in a place I call home.
