I moved into a townhome at Story University North (managed by Ram Partners) on December 19, 2025, and unfortunately my experience has been extremely disappointing from day one. Almost immediately after moving in, I noticed serious plumbing and sewage issues—toilets not working properly, drainage problems, and sewage backing up into my shower smh. I submitted a maintenance request, and a plumber came out on December 24. I explained that my dishwasher was flooding even when not in use, with water spilling onto the kitchen floor, and that sewage had already backed up into the shower. While one toilet was fixed, the second toilet upstairs stopped working right after the plumber left (I tried flushing, it would not flush), and the dishwasher flood issue was never resolved. I have not used the dishwasher since December 22 because it continues to fill with water and overflow. Every single day I have to manually drain it to keep water from flooding my kitchen. On December 25, things got worse. I submitted two more service requests after water continued to leak water ender the dishwasher and water started running from underneath the baseboards in the dining room next to the kitchen and damaged one of my move in boxes. There are visible water stains above the baseboards, which is very concerning. This has something to do with poor plumbing between the units. Water is flooding and rising into the dishwasher every morning without anyone using anything in the kitchen. When I called the leasing office on December 29th , I was told they were having trouble finding maintenance because someone was out of the office. As of December 30, no maintenance has returned to inspect or fix any of these issues, until today I put in a third request made it high priority and they reached out today after 6 days of plumbing problems with no response. Meanwhile, I’m dealing with ongoing water intrusion, sewage problems, and the very real risk of mold—this is a health and safety issue. On top of that, I discovered paint spackle/drywall mud/debris poured down my kitchen sink, along with paint on the door knobs and kitchen faucet. That alone shows the unit was not properly prepared for move-in. I have photos and video documenting everything. I’ve only lived in this townhome 11 days total, yet I’m dealing with sewage backups, non-working toilets, water leaking through baseboards, and contamination concerns. A home without working plumbing and clean water is simply not livable. Never seen water run underneath a baseboard in a dining room. Never seen sewage backup come into a shower - Its poor construction and negilence and this home is not up to code. This is a new townhome, that's never been lived in. I can't fully use the toilets and I can't fully use the kitchen. At this point, I do not feel safe living here. My computer monitor almost was damaged due to these water issues and there was so much paint dust, I couldnt lay my clothes in the closet. I had to wipe down closets, wipe down doors...My coat got all this paint dust on it.

Leasing staff was very helpful in correcting any wifi issues we had on move in day and reimbursed us for the trouble. Very clean complex and nice and quiet, I would highly recommend checking them out!
