  This review and the rating are for the maintenance team, specifically Jakari Sanders who came by to fix a longstanding issue with our closet door, and he did it SO QUICKLY! He was professional, courteous and knew immediately what the issue was. Super thankful for him and his work!

  Oh, MY GOD! Do NOT ENGAGE with this rental agency.!.!. They accept MULTIPLE applications for ONE PROPERTY, knowing that only one family can move in- so they can collect MULTIPLE application FEES! I passed all checks,, then paid $2439.95(Sept 5th) for a security deposit that was imposed BEFORE a lease was signed. I was told if I didn't pay it in advance,,, the application would cancel along with our application FEES per applicant,, within 24hrs.!! Then,,, they asked $1620 per month. Or budget was $1600 mo. So,, they declined to reduce the rent by only $20 mo. We didn't move forward. I called EVER DAY, from Sept 20th thru, till Dec 2025. I have been passed around from extension to extension- given excuses- mislead- ignored -infuriated for 90 PLUS DAYS about my refund money. Excuses, LIES, promises,.. SILENCE- for 90 PLUS DAYS- while we're trying to MOVE!!! I finally got my money DEC 23 2025,,, after calling/appealing since SEPT 2025!!! the actual workers, were very sympathetic, but the admin team makes this experience nothing short of REAL ESTATE EXPLOITATION!!! They're incredibly THIRSTY,, for your money! These people do not seem interested in decency at all.!. 90 PLUS DAYS,,, of the run around, excuses, promises, lies, then finally silence,,, about my $2439.95 for a property I never took possession of!!! READ OTHER REVIEWS!!!!! IT'S NOT JUST ME--- LOTS OF PEOPLE speak loudly about their experience with PROGRESS RENTAL! ADD IT UP.... We CAN'T ALL be lying!!! THEY DO NOT CARE!!!! JUST,,,,,,P.A.Y. !!!!! they even charge YOU to send maintenance out to the rental property for repairs!!!!!! They want YOU,, to keep the yard, pay sewage, pay for $100,000 insurance coverage for THEIR RENTAL, plus pay for maintenance issues AT the rental,, PLUS $150 LATE FEE for late rent payments. BEWARE THAT THESE PEOPLE WANT YOUR MONEY-& ONLY YOUR MONEY! I am livid about their business practices & took the time to type ALL this for you to see. Swear to GOD, EVERY SINGLE WORD,,, IS TRUE& ACCURATE! RUN FROM THESE PEOPLE!!! FIND ANOTHER PROPERTY!!!! YOU'D BETTER HEAR ME!!🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 THEY'RE TAKING MULTIPLE APPLICANT'S MONEY,,, for the exact same address!!!!!.. Collecting more from application fees, than from the actual rent amount!.. Won't tell you how many applicants they already have for it,,,, so they can collect yours also!!.. along with everyone else's who's called. I told you,,,,, to RUN!!!!🙏🏽

  The worst company I've ever seen in my entire life. We simply applied for a beautiful house, we were looking forward to renting it. They said that no one had done the application yet and that we were the first. We pay for the application and send the application all right. They asked for our Social security and we sent it at the same time. After 72 hours we called to find out why the delay and they simply said they didn't receive anything and we sent it. So we sent it again and then they said they received it. 72 more hours passed, we called and they said they hadn't received it and we sent it and they said they received it. Until they sent it again by email to send our social security again and so we did. After 3 hours we received an email saying that the house was no longer available. I don't recommend it and I will never make another application with this horrible company.

  My experience with Progress Residential was one of the most hectic and stressful housing experiences I’ve ever had. Communication was unclear from the beginning, and when issues occurred on their end, they were not handled professionally. I encountered a very disrespectful male customer service representative who refused to look into the issue thoroughly. Instead, I was told, “We sent the link, so figure it out,” and then the call was abruptly ended. The link he claimed to have sent was never actually delivered because the co-applicant’s email address was entered incorrectly. Not only was he rude, but he was also incompetent at his job.. There was one female representative who genuinely tried to help resolve the situation, and I truly appreciate her efforts. Unfortunately, I did not get her name, but she was the only person who showed any willingness to assist. Overall, if you are considering renting through Progress Residential, proceed with caution. You will likely find yourself doing most of the follow-up work, repeatedly checking in for updates, and chasing answers. Applications can be canceled or denied without clear explanation, leaving you to track them down for clarification. PS: The only reason I am giving this company two stars is because of the female representative who attempted to resolve the issue. Without her effort, this experience would have warranted zero stars.
