  We just began our 6th year at Catalyst this month (December 2025) in a corner unit, and it honestly feels like we’ve moved into a brand-new apartment—without the expense or hassle of moving! Catalyst completed a massive remodel of our unit last month, and we could not be happier with the results. They updated: Kitchen – new cabinets, quartz countertops and backsplash, under cabinet lighting, single compartment sink (I can actually fit a full sized cookie sheet!), chef's faucet, and added a pantry. Both bathrooms – new quartz countertops, cabinets, mirror frames, lights, the surrounding area of bathtub, sinks, and faucets New lighting in the entire apartment Both bedroom closets completely redone with custom closets. The master closet is AMAZING with built in shelves and 3 deep drawers. The new kitchen storage is one of our favorite parts. The drawers are incredibly deep—deep enough that I can store all six of my mixing bowls stacked in a single drawer. We also have our full-size blender and stand mixer comfortably tucked away in cabinets now, and the adjustable shelves make the space so much more functional and customizable. The entire process was also remarkably efficient. We left Sunday night, work began Monday morning, and we were walking back into our finished apartment Friday after work. The turnaround was unbelievable, and the quality is immaculate. The apartment was spotless when we returned—not a speck of dust or clutter anywhere. Catalyst also made the prep simple. They provided clothing racks, tote bags, and lidded storage bins so we could empty the kitchen, bathrooms, and closets. All we had to do beyond that was slide our living room items to one wall, and they gave us plastic to protect our furniture. They truly thought of every detail to make the remodel as easy on residents as possible. After five years here, this experience made us fall in love with our home all over again. The space feels modern, bright, clean, and honestly brand new. Huge thank-you to Catalyst for such a seamless, thoughtful, and beautifully executed upgrade. We’re thrilled with our apartment and proud to call Catalyst home! 💛🏡✨

  I have been at the Catalyst for about 1.5 years and I have loved my experience. Maintenance fixes requests within hours. There are great apartment events. Everyone is super friendly especially the concierge team. Tina, Candace and Sam have been amazing and have been super helpful with any concerns I may have. Also a very walkable area to many sports in the area and just a few blocks away from South End!

  I’ve lived here now for 1.5 years and have had a great experience. If I had to do it all over again moving to Charlotte, I wouldn’t change a thing. The apartments are quite nice (high ceilings, great views) and priced relatively well. You really cannot beat the location, walking distance to sports, Tryon, and South End. The amenities are good as well (pool, club room, gym). Also, if you put in a maintenance request, they will be there no later than the next day to fix whatever issue. There are multiple events a month put on by the management team making the complex feel more like a community. Special shout to the concierge team including Tina, Sam, James, and many others.

  I’m coming up on my 2 year mark of living at the Catalyst. I have almost zero complaints, & my interactions with the staff are always pleasant; especially with the concierge & maintenance teams. However, I’m writing this review to highlight the property manager Feliks specifically. While I’ve had no major issues here, in the past year I’ve had a few concerns that I think have been more personal than community based. Even so, Feliks has responded so swiftly & attentively each time. I have never been made to feel as though my concerns were bothersome or unimportant, & I have greatly appreciated being treated so kindly in these instances. Thank you, Feliks. It has not gone unnoticed. - Kashana

  Living at the Catalyst Building in Charlotte for a year was an unforgettable experience, especially since it was my very first time living in the USA. Catalyst truly became my home away from home and is hands down the best building I've ever resided in. The main highlight was the spectacular view, allowing me to watch the sunset daily from my patio. They organize fun weekly events, providing a great way to interact with neighbors. Furthermore, the building is excellently equipped with amenities like a gym and a swimming pool, and the entire experience is uplifted by the outstanding property managers, Felix and Jessica, whose dedication and warmth made my year there absolutely wonderful. The building is well maintained. If you are in Charlotte, must stay in Catalyst.
