    I had a great experience working with Tonji as my leasing agent. She was very professional, helpful, and made the entire leasing process smooth and easy to understand.     I understand that not everything that happens in this community is under the leasing office's control; however, what is absolutely under its control is communication. On January 8 the leasing office sent out an email saying that the mail boxes had been tampered with and the lock broken. This resulted in USPS removing the mail and taking it to the post office for residents to pick up. In that initial email, the leasing office said they are not sure what how long it will take to repair the lock. While that first email is sufficient to notify residents what had occured, it's now March and the leasing office has said nothing about the status of repairing the mail boxes, which are still broken. The only reason I know that is because I went to the leasing office and asked about it, not because of any effort on the office to update the community. When it comes matters like this I would much rather the leasing office send periodic updates about the status of repair for our mailboxes rather than leave us in the dark until it's fixed, and we don't know how long that will be. Mail is too important to just send one email about and then never follow up, even if it's just to say you're still working on the issue. I shouldn't be left to just assume the issue isn't fixed because there's been no follow up communication. If the leasing office can send an email every couple of weeks telling us to follow trash collection rules and to pick up after our dogs, I don't think it's too much ask for the same level of consistent communication about whether or not our mailboxes are fixed. In fact, I didn't know about the damaged mailboxes until I called USPS wondering why I hadn't gotten mail in so long. This entire ordeal has been incredibly frustrating and inconvenient and it doesn't feel as though the leasing office cares.

    I was very disappointed with the lack of professionalism I experienced when “touring” Ashford green. My partner and I had an appointment for 10AM and when we arrived the office was locked and no one inside. The office staff arrived late and did not acknowledge or apologize to us for the delay. Once inside we were told there were no actual 2 bedroom apartments that were available to be shown to us. Knowing this, I’m not sure why no one contacted me to tell us the entire thing would be a waste of time. Very frustrating.
