I lived here 3 years in 1BR/1BH (~640sq ft) unit. Summary: Initial price and unit condition is good. Maintenance team is beyond good. On-site management is ok if you can make office hours. Corporate doesn't care. If you don't have good neighbors then expect there to be no options for recourse through management. The good: 1) I never had any bug infestation. Some bugs get in sometimes but nothing living in the walls or pipes. I want to emphasize that this is a rare feat for almost any NC/SC apartment complex. The folks here care about preventing infestations. 2) Maintenance always fixed every request within 24 hours. The OK: 1) Initial price was market rate when I moved in. It was reasonable. 2) On-site management was generally responsive for most things and when you can align your schedule to business hours + 1 (closing at 6PM) then someone can help you in person. 3) Trash: For about 6-9 months between 2022 and 2023 trash overflowed the dumpsters. At some point they increased trash pickup. It should not have taken the better part of a year. 4) Parking: Sometimes there's not quite enough of it. There are a lot of units who have 2-3 cars and there is no plan to manage unit use of spaces. The Bad: 1) When the price is the only reason you live somewhere and the new price they want you to pay is 25% above their asking price for the unit then it's time to move if you can afford to. You can see their occupancy rate and going rates on realpage. 2) When I inquired with corporate via their portal about the price I never received any response, twice. Even a 'our costs went up and we're passing them on' would've been a response. The first time they said anything was to offer to let me lease a larger unit. Such an offer completely misses the point of living at this complex. One chooses to live here because the price is right. 3) In 2023 I had a downstairs neighbor with dogs which started nuisance barking when that neighbor took a new job that required odd hours and travel. The neighbor ignored the dogs for days on end. They barked almost non-stop all day and night. The real problem was the night-time barking. Management did not take meaningful action regarding the dogs when given notice on 3 separate occasions. It took filing a noise complaint with the police at 1:30 in the morning before anyone actually did anything. At that point the tenant's mother started visiting daily to care for the dogs, presumably because management finally made a meaningful threat to evict if they received further noise complaints from the police. The fact is that they didn't push the issue with the neighbor after 3 reports and only acted when a police report was filed. That tenant was eventually subject to eviction proceedings for non-payment (per the yellow notice on the door) and presumably was eventually evicted. The neighbor's unit required 2 weeks of cleaning and airing out before they even did the remodel. Whatever the source of the policy, this complex doesn't care about nuisances between neighbors and will not act to the benefit of paying tenant over the bad-acting and eventually non-paying tenant.

Awful experience! These apartments looked nice on the website however shortly after moving in I noticed roaches in the kitchen. These apartments are in a nice area of Charlotte but not being able to use the kitchen without worrying about getting roaches in your food is not worth it!! DON'T RENT FROM THIS COMPLEX!! I refuse to allow them to get away with maintaining a dwelling with health hazards of living with unwanted pests in the kitchen where I feed my children. 😡😡😡

I requested 2 virtual tours with this place and both times no one answered the zoom call. Ridiculous
