Have lived here for 4 years and love my apartment. I can say the new maintenance guys we have now are by far the best. They actually care and worked so hard to make sure everything was done in my house.

I am a resident here. I pay my rent every month and have never been late. They began a towing service months after I signed and have now towed my car twice. It is the same vehicle listed on my leasing agreement. When they began implementing it, they gave a start date and suggested tenants get their information together by then — and towed my car before the start date, violating their own agreement. I attempted to call when I first got a sticker on the vehicle, and received no answer from the office. I attempted to visit during office hours, and the doors were suspiciously locked. (10am) Then when I finally got to speak to someone AFTER it was towed they said— “You should have told us before. There’s nothing we can do now 🤷” … there was also no contact information or name on the sticker placed on my vehicle. When I moved in, there was a dog bowl setup in the dining area. I don’t have a dog. They made me sign a form before move-in to verify that I don’t have a pet. There was a dog bowl upon entry. There were hideous black cobwebs inside my bedroom window and along the doorframe when I moved in. I requested for maintenance or pest control to do a cleaning, hoping for a hose to wash it away or professional grade spray. I was worried of possible infestation. When asked, they told me there’s nothing they can do. They don't handle that. There’s been a food bag outside the bedroom window since I moved in. Mountains of dog poop in the grass. The kitchen pantry shelves have fallen off, and I just got comfortable with it because I’m so tired. The dishwasher stopped working and I put a request in for someone to have a look — they came to my doorstep three weeks later. I’m a young girl living alone — this is too much for me to deal with by myself. Instead of worrying about apartment and community quality and cleanliness, they have prioritized towing any vehicles — including residents — for profit. Towing was not agreed upon in my leasing agreement. I’m exhausted communicating car related issues. The interior space itself is decent, but the oversight of the property is very concerning. Would not recommend for single women to live here considering the maintenance neglect and threats to your vehicle.

We did a tour with my son on Saturday and we were sold. Took us 2 hours to get there and the girl Bri was so sweet. This is his first apartment and it’s perfect because it’s right there at UNC. He loved the apartment and his dad and I LOVE the price. Thank you Bri for being so kind and amazing.

My experience at the Commons has been phenomenal. I am sad to be moving to another state this summer because I have developed such a great relationship with the staff. Bri and Amber are so helpful and make living there easy. If there is something they cant handle they immediately outsource and find a resolution. They truly portray such a phenomenal work environment!
